  1. I don't have one but have heard great things. Check out hunting beast. Few folks there that Use Them
  2. Please don't bump this anymore Bill, my will power is dwindling. Everything I read says this gun is a tack driver too, even as a semi. lol Must resist ........
  3. Cabin you have been losing weight so rapidly, the site simply doesn't recognize you.
  4. Sadly Johnny Cochran is no longer with us.
  5. Did you opt out of the class action? Now you can sue for millions.
  6. We only target mature ticks. 10lbs minimum.
  7. That's how we determine a shooter in these parts. More ticks the better.
  8. I was saving up for a trip to Iowa, but now plan to pay Jason to be my guide in NY. Much better odds.
  9. Agreed, but you do realize we all have high expectations of you. Don't let us down.
  10. I always feel so bad for you. Never a target buck to be found. That is one impressive drop tine for a 3yr.
  11. we are still seeing spotted fawns on cam
  12. Don't recognize those names. For lakers, we use cowbells and peanuts or spinners. Of course, we catch the occasional laker when chasing salmon and steelies too. But generally we troll faster (2.5-3.0 vs. 1.0-2.0) for salmon and steelies and are not bottom bouncing like when targeting lakers. Salmon and steelies are usually a combo of various spoons and some dipsies running spin doctors and flies or cut bait (we use the fake stuff). Gamblers rigs do work well for lakers.
  13. That's a beauty. If I had more than one property that allowed rifle, I would love to own it. Good luck with the sale Bill.
  14. Yep, depending on age, perhaps .01 in bonds, .01 in a cash equivalent and .02 in the market which will rebound. Ah screw it, let him go crazy with this found money. That made me laugh Jeremy.
  15. Not sure if you ever saw the diameter of the gamegetter 300s but after shooting micro diam arrows for the last 5 years, the 300 gamegetters literally seem like shooting telephone poles. lol They fly fine and I am sure will kill deer. They are tough to fit in my quiver they are so big.
  16. We don't really fish for Northern. I know they are caught in Irondequoit bay on occasion.
  17. They sound pretty darn good. May have to try them.
  18. Not much of a fish eater. They live to fight another day. Both were pretty spunky when released.
  19. We fished from 2-4 this afternoon. One of those days where it seemed everything went wrong. Swivel on downrigger pulley snapped, another rigger stopped working (still can't figure out why) and wire dipsy line broke costing us a spin doctor and fly. But, the kids both landed one and it was Natalie's first all on her own. Thank goodness because she lost one too and she was upset. But she felt a bit better when we netted this one. Not enough time to run deep so we pretty much focused on lakers. Now to figure out why the rigger won't run and find the right replacement swivel.
  20. I peg him at 84lbs but I am no expert
  21. Maybe one of those African hunting trips. Nice!
  22. In fairness Elmo, church doctrine or dogma does not always adhere to biblical teachings. That's true for the Catholic church, among many many many others. In fact, based on my reading of the Bible, I disagree with some limited teachings of the church I attend, albeit not significant ones. If you want to know the biblical stance on an issue, go to the source. If you want to know the catholic church's view on issues, I guess you can rely on that church's doctrine as stated by the pope. We all have a direct line if we choose to use it. I am not here to argue religious doctrine/dogma, right or wrong, but I prefer to avoid suggesting that Christian beliefs and teachings are synonymous with Catholic pronouncements on various subjects.
  23. I think you are referring to new vs. old testament. The old testament are all books written before the birth of Jesus and primarily tell the history of creation and the Jewish people (with many prophecies about the coming of Jesus in the future). The new testament is comprised of all books written after the birth of Jesus and the first 4 books are gospels that recount his life and teachings. There are various translations over the years where scholars did their best to translate original writings into contemporary language easily understood. As I recall, the old testament books were written in Hebrew and Aramaic while the new testament books were originally written in Greek.
