  4. wy draw results have been out for about a week. my second choice last year was 100% in the special draw. this year, there was 35+ guys that did not get a tag as first choice. i thought for sure i would be hunting antelope in wy. i'm glad there is over the counter tags out west or i would never get to hunt. .
  5. congrats pygmy! i now have 18 pts for co. i was hoping for 21 third season.
  6. i'm a big loser. 0 fer like 30 in the draws this year. anyone draw tags?
  7. what did you have done and what did it cost?
  8. congrats! i'm glad vegas wouldn't take my money.
  9. you should just give, he's smarter than you. joking
  10. i get an f for reading comprehension. 220, get the hammer out and knock some pts off.
  11. lime should cost about $30 to 35/ton having a truck come in with 15 to 20 tons a load. 2 tons of fertilizer $1400 +money to spread. $100/hr for tracter and disc/seeder. was it corn or soybeans last year?
  12. did you already test the soil? how much lime is needed? what about fertilizer? what was last planted on it? what are you going to do with it once its planted? how much do you expect to pay?
  13. dinsdale; whats it cost? how much land? do they bait? high fence?
  14. its been my experience that most people cant make that shot if they had to.
  15. I've hunted all over the west diy. I fill out all my applications myself and save myself a lot of money. if I was starting out today I wouldn't do it. I would buy landowner tags or hunt places that you can just buy tags. I know of Jason and adam from when they used to be with the huntin fool. I think they are very good at their jobs. make sure you understand each states draw process and whether you have any chance of drawing the tag you want. some of the states and application services will give you false hopes. I spend about $1500 every year on nonrefundable licenses and fees. pygmy gave you some good advice on hunting when your young. I've also hunted Osceola turkeys diy. watch out for snakes and gaters. anyone interested in applying for Barbary/audad sheep in nm(diy)
  16. this little guy was killed last night. the coyotes never broke thru the snow while they chased him down.
