  1. Like Cabin said, it all depends on your deer density and available food sources. I planted around 7 acres in total between 5 plots. Not one plot was below an acre. No one has soybeans around my place so they get browsed pretty good.

  3. when the woodshed was created that forum turned towards the worst.
  4. Nope, but I'm in the process of becoming a dealer.
  5. I have a jd 1240 4 row corn planter that I maybe willing to sell. It's in Otsego county. I also have a 3pt 4 row plow for sale. send me a pm.
  6. dave, would you be willing to make some homebrews for me? What would be the cost if I supply the camera? shoot me a pm.
  7. Buck, I appreciate your opinion however I disagree. We both had our arguments on the last forum regarding ar so I don't want to go back and forth. With that said Culling an animal in the wild will have no impact on genetics. There are plenty of studies on it. Also, there are many reasons why some deer are spikes and others not...nutrition, their born date etc....now we do practice some sort of ar on our farm for the past 5 years and have a much better age structure. We also still have spikes even with 30 acres in food plots. It happeneds and that's ok. So is the opinion not to have ar. Shoot what you want but to say ar is bad, I would have to disagree.
  8. Rock out to 80yrds getting ready for some out west hunting?

  10. I love my ir4...I think they take better pictures than my ir60 but battery life is better on the moultrie. Where do you get the ir4 on sale?
  11. very nice bucks! like the soys as well.
  12. John, any close ups? not sure what's growing?? doesn't look to be oats or the rye, which I thought would be the first to come up.
  13. My neighbor has 150 acres and he is the only one who hunts it but yet he is compelled to put stands 10 yards from the property line next to my plots! I don't even hunt a 30 acre piece of my farm that borders his land.
  14. 09 was a major bust on my farm. Never saw a mature buck all season. Never even seen any rutting activity either ???
  15. old loggy lite climber.
  16. Steve, thanks for the reply...that's what i've been hearing as well.
