Barry will show you the PROPER way to wear your hat....Hehehe.... I read Gene Wensel's book before I saw the videos... One thing that stands out in my mind was when he was talking about deer lures... He said the best deer lure he knew of was a freshly used feminine napkin or tampon...The strings were there to make them easier to hang from a branch.. He also said that the worst verbal beating he ever took was when his wife found a Ziploc bag full of them hidden behind a rump roast in the family freezer...….

My bed is about 4' x8' and I only plant about half of it to garlic and get about 100 bulbs....I plant mine in early to mid October also... Dug mine 2 weeks ago...

Although I am not a big pizza fan, Aniellos is accepted as the best pizza place in Corning... The Mermaid orders pizza...I order one of their hot subs, which are excellent...Hot roast beef with BBQ sauce makes you wanna slap yo MOMMA !!

And then there was Herter's....My first reloading press ( metallic) was a Herter's and some of the tools I still use, including my powder scale were from Herter's...I had a catalog from the 60s and it was amazing..It is either buried up in The Mermaid's garage attic or I lost it when I evacuated my ex-wife's house..Either way I'll probably never see it again...Hehehe...

Shooting them off barn beams with a spring powered Daisy, the BBs would just bounce off their wings...You needed a head or neck shot to drop them.. However, in flight, with their wings deployed, light loads of 6, 7 1/2 or even 8 shot work pretty good...
