I posted in this thread about wanting to be back here for the For Sure Whatever thread about how all hunters are only motivated to hunt for antlers.
I always like that conversation.

I sent you a PM some time ago . Knee is getting more flexible thanks to exercises I have to do . I am hoping it gets well enough so I can get out during gun season or ML season . I use a walker in the house and a cane when I go outside . Still have pain and taking Tylenol for that .

You are a good man for trying to keep this place going for as long as you did dealing with us batons being overly sophomoric at times - stay well and good luck!

Luna was tired after today’s swamp track. She hasn’t swam that much in a long time.
What's her recovery time? Day off after a track or is she right back at if after a good nights sleep?
Do Kunox and Luna ever work together or is that too distracting for them?

Doe I shot yesterday in Columbia county is loaded with fat. My 3S doe, not so much.

Knocked down a doe at last light. 3 came in at 5;50 and were munching on winter rye sprouts. 1 baby and 2 Meat-ables. They fed at 35 for a bit, outside my comfort zone. Eventually 1 worked her way over so I drew but she turned I had ti let down. Then she was behind some cover and one more step she's mine. I draw...she freezes and turns away. I let down: the other one now sees me and is alert to something. My nearest target starts heading correctly again so I draw and need to lean a bit awkwardly for a clear shot that was more quartering to then I thought. Good entry- back exit. She wheels and hangs in the field for 10 minutes, hunched up and walks to the corner. Now it's dark but the baby comes back to feed...I hear heavy rustling now off the field. Climb down check arrow and find good blood but gut smell. Return to the barn and wait u til 10:30 to take a look. Find some good blood- not like gut at all so I track a bit and eventually see eyes. Backed out to return at 12:00. Find her in a new bed and kick her further but she's hurting. Wait another hour and take up trail. Find her in another bed and finish her off.
I wish I recognized the quartering better-with the other one staring at me I think I rushed. Regardless, she's hanging and I'm shot!

Jumped in a ground blind an hour ago up on Columbia county. Bonus hunt since dinner plans got scratched.1 doe feeding in winter rye field - little breezier than expected but it's welcome to cool me down!

I caught a quick news story this morning on Fox that appears to show the Ramp pictured in the above meme. I didn't see those cameras.
I have a hard time believing the pelosi house wouldn't have cameras but I also don't believe or get my news from memes.
It's a confusing time with manipulation of "fact" on every side.

Same things were offered at my school...Same thing...counselors available to talk, quiet room set up, etc. A couple of my conservative colleagues and I were giddy. I don't recall the same rooms being available when Joe won.

Maybe it was the lack of rain this summer that's causing us to see less ticks in the south east. What ever the reason is, Im loving it!

3S is usually loaded but I have not seen any on me after my hunts (clothes treated with Permethrin) and don't recall many on the doe I took earlier. Admittedly it was late and I wasn't paying attention if they were present .

Yes, all my equipment was made by hand (although I wasn’t using my stone point…Zwickey). Crazy angle now that I see it from the inside…the deer was literally above me…arrow went in low and out high…always a first! I still cannot believe he didn’t know I was there!
