    @chrisw I don’t want to clutter the “Live thread” so thought I’d ask some more curiosity questions here Looks like shoulder as it seems pretty high up that stick. What did you hear on impact? Loud crack? Did you see the arrow hanging out from entrance side? Where do you think you entered? Exited? Hoping any help we can give can give you some answers/guesses or some comfort?     I have three large zippered “scent free” bags (Maybe tinks?) that I use. One has all my light/mid weight clothes and stays in the car from 10/1-12/31. And other has my heavy suit in the garage at the ready. The third has extra hunting clothes (small game pants, bird vest, etc). No wafers or scent pads but clothes are washed in scent free soap and then treat with Sawyers prior to the season. After this particularly hit start a freshen up wash is required….but not done!     I kicked a wide spindly buck as I walked in today and watched a fawn harassing mom for some juice. At that moment I decided she would not become meat if she gave me a shot(never did anyway but still..) Nothing else but the fawn running around like a 5 year old on Halloween night!     Is there something unrelated to hunting that you are postponing? I have had that feeling of it just not being right for me to be in the woods and it is typically because I am either putting off something I don’t want to do (chores, dr appts, grading papers, etc) or my priorities got twisted and I was hunting over a family thing and feel bad about it.
