  1. My real estate attorney suggested the llc just too cover ourselves. Still waiting to close. I don't know the particulars except there are no problems with the deed or anything screwy. The attorney suggested the llc and I took his advice. Right or wrong I think it's too late now. Thank you for your opinion on this everyone.

  2. I am in the final steps of purchasing roughly 85 acres of all wooded property. My attorney said it would be a good idea to form a LLC in order to protect myself and my partner from anything that could come up with the property. There is nothing wrong with it, but it is being bought from a large commercial company. They can't use it because a highway cuts this piece off from the main property. NY state sent me a tax paper asking how I will classify my llc. What Naics code I wills classify under. My question is does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing. I have no idea what type of agricultural business I could do or want to do. If anyone has set up an llc in order to purchase land let me know what you naics you were under and how much of a pita nystate was about things.

  3. I agree with you but in this particular case it wasn't a refugee. The guy (EDIT: The pond scum) had a dual-citizenship in France and Tunisia and has been living in Nice, France for some time.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.

Makes you wonder how many are just waiting for a chance to pull off stuff like this for Allah. My guess is he was part of a sleeper cell. How many of those are here in our country and live only a few miles away from each of us?

  4. Find out where they have other solar farms and go talk to the lease owners there. I'm in a wind lease and did such a thing and it was very informative.

I am going to call these guys and see what they have to say. I will ask about anything they leased by me. I can't find any of that info on the net.

  5. I got a package in the mail a couple days ago saying they want to lease a minimum of 20 acres at $1,500 an acre for 20 years for a solar energy farm. They cover taxes on the portion they lease. 2% cost of living increase every year. Sounds like a nice retirement nest egg for me, but sounds too good to be true. Anybody know anything about this? I looked it up on the internet and haven't found anything bad. Any info about this company or solar energy farms would be great.

  6. I would soil test now so if you need to lime you have time for it to get into the soil. Ph can vary due to elevation . Water runoff and other things can change soil in a short distance. This is what I have learned but by no means am an expert. If growie was around she would have an answer

  7. I got the kidding around part when I got to the part about Brussel sprouts and opium. If the sale was still going on you would be thanking me. Wanna buy a ladder stand in a box for 95 bucks? Haha. Your mind will be going 100mph with thoughts of what to do on that land. It's a blessing and a curse. Good luck to you and your dad

  8. His wife, kids and mother inlaw. The kids are on spring break so this is his vacation disguised as a political trip. The extra secret service agents following the girls around and also renting out extra floors at the hotel they were at costs more. Obummer had no reason to go except for another vacation. Worst president ever
