I don't think shooting a traditional bow an older compound or a new compound makes a difference in being able to take a deer down. What you have to realize is if you are comfortable shooting the bow you are using. I do think the older bows might take a little more fine tuning and the recurves alot more. If you feel comfortable shooting your old compound shoot it specailly if you are comfortable with it. It would suck to spend 800 dollars on a new bow and hate it.

There is also a jfg file but can't view that. What the hey. I just tried to to the usb cord and my computer doesn't even reconize the device. I have a card reader and I just get those two files jfg afg. It says i should have a avi file but I don't see it. Now what I hate being computer retarded.

I have a moultrie camera and I turned it to video and now I can't watch the video. Do I have to download a viewer?

80 feet maybe with a recurve not 80 yards of course you didn't say. If it is 80 yards I want to see you shoot it in the woods accurately.

Aswome job in not giving up. I have heard a few other people say that the rages aren't giving blood. I know others that say it is ridiculous on how much blood. We are after some strongly driving animals that is for sure.

didn't see a deer all week and I stood for 8 hours on sat and 6.5 on sunday. I hope it changes this week.

Anywhere from 15 to 25 feet. When you use a climber always look at your back drop so if the deer do look up you are not silhoueted against the sky. I know people who use them just to get off the ground they say they don't go over 5-10 feet. Just use our discreation. 30 feet you get a hell of an angle when the deer come in close.

Wools are always good but they get ridulesly hot when it is warm out. I went with a pair of flannel lined carhartt pants NOT BROWN. If it is really cold you can throw long underwear on and they are plenty warm. I love them. They aren't overly expensive either.

Hell ya people thought I was nuts when I went with a recurve hybrid. Love it it is so simple and such a rush. You have to put in a LOT more time but when you get one it is all worth it.

That was my pet musta got out. That is a way cool deer. He must of scrachted his eyes trying to make sure it was a deer before he shot.

Some one else said that they have a spike with a 12 inch spread on it. Ar's are not the answer. It is about food and cover. I still don't get how these guys want someone dictating what they can harvest. We are SUPPOSED to live in a free country. Right? Those are some beauty's

Wholly wind this morning. I got down out of my stand at 10 and went out to the parking lot (state land) and nobody was there. I swear I never see anybody in that lot later than 9-930. I guess nobody stands for more than 2 hours. I will be back out tonight found a good trail and hopfully Iwill beat everybody in and they can push the deer to me.

I forgot the last time I got a virus it changed my lan options and you have to go back in and reset them. I am all fixed now. It is much easier wrighting on a full keyboard and not a black berry.
