Oh man, many years ago while I was in HS we used to put a hurting on them stupid ugly things. Pellet pistols in village (oops) I skipped school one day to shoot them off my neighbors chimney during winter as they huddled around the top to keep warm .I propped the back door open and would quietly slip the pellet pistol out and shoot. Killed 2 and critically wounded another with one shot. The worst was when they'd fall in my neighbors chimney and I'd worry they'd start a fire. Also shot my fair share in the actual woods at my buddies with .22 CCI Stingers. Loved the poof of feathers !

HS Strut slate and a custom slate I got a few years back from a member on oldgobbler. Green scotch brite in upper right pocket of vest and sand paper in upper left lol. Moisture sucks with slate so I'm always conditioning it in the woods

Every year I need to buy 13 year old daughter new camo and boots. Well worth it just to have her along though. Memories forever . Been taking her turkey scouting pre season since she was 4. Every year, new camo. This year it's her year , youth hunt. At $90 a pop for new pointe shoes ( ballet ) every 6 weeks camo seems cheap

Pick a fight with her and if she comes in so does he. OR wait til late morning when hens go to nest. Without his / their hens the toms may be more respondsive to you ( another hen )
