I may use it when things get slow late morning to see if I can get one to shock gobble back at me. Don't think they even know they're gobbling back. In fact the crow call may get the same results. I did kill a bird a few years ago by having big boy gobbling and coming in. He hung up. A Jake started yelping into his cruddy gobble. Ole tom didn't like that and would gobble on top of the Jakes call. When the jake finally stopped I yelped and hit my gobble call. Tom came the 300 yards or so looking to kick the so called jakes ( me at this point ) butt. He practically ran across the field until he saw the DSD upright hen decoy. Strutted for awhile and then tipped him over. Still can't believe it worked like it did. Always be careful when using a gobble call regardless if you are hunting private land and think no other hunters are there or not. You don't want someone sneaking in when they hear a gobble ( you ) and maybe get shot. Public land : I think I'd definately keep the gobble call in my vest.

Drove little atv thing with hydraulic rakes in the back in sand traps for slouches who didn't rake their footprints ( golf course ). Also changed hole locations on greens. Man , I put some doozies out there when the greens were running fast My dad was superintendent of golf course I worked at for 43 years. While working there and playing golf there I knew every inch of grass there. Ended up club champion 7 of 10 years and then quit golf entirely. No idea what I got paid , long time ago At the time I'd go pick night crawlers off the tees at night. Good pick was 1000 at 5 cents per. They'd be so easy to grab all stretched out with the short grass and sprinklers on Sold to Dustys bait n tackle in Depew on Transit rd for those who remember of that place.
