Some day I'd like one person take bug spray as their one item It's always the bugs making things so crappy. They always find water and food though. A big can of Off I tell you. And I wouldn't stand a chance for those 21 days.

Don't think I have a best time window. I've killed birds early and right up until the noon bell ringer. I can say that I'm sitting at o'dark thirty and listen to the woods wake up. I'd be afraid to go out later and wonder if I missed anything happening. And nothing better than having the woods come alive at dawn.

6.60%. A nice Porter too

Pork tenderloin off the smoker and broiled Brussel sprouts
-
I had an untapped account but deleted it ( at about 2000 different beers ) as I found myself chasing beers I haven't had. Despite all the good beer I still can remember all the ones I've had lol

pfft. The smoker is the first thing I shovel around. Then the back door so I can let the dog out. Re brisket. I just smoked a pork butt for 4 hours , then oven at 225 for a few hours and then crockpot. It turned out amazing. Just a thought for your smoking future

Pork tenderloins still on the smoker so I needed a smoker beer. 2014 Bourbon County Stout : coffee variant. Of 2500 + different beers I've never had this. Oh dang , this is outstanding.

Isn't a scope on a Henry a sin ?! I'd love to own one someday. Would get me back to iron sights too

I also have been in the market for a cheap scope for my daughters 40th anniversary 10/.22 that's still new in the box. Bought it when she was 6 months old. At 13 she now can handle it. Hunter safety course coming up soon so I'd like to get her shooting it. I've also had a cheap Bushnell scope on my 10/.22 for 30 plus years. It's held up well. Been perusing Cabela's website lately and finding a few options from $50-$100. May have to order one as Cheektovegas location inventory down a bunch. Rumor has it Bass Pro taking it over but I have no concrete evidence of that.

ill have to try that. Egg salad sammiches always go in woods with me during turkey / deer season Shot a nice doe years back with half a sandwich protruding from my face. Still got good cheek weld with gun. Lol

yes. It makes for a great dipping sauce. Wife takes tilapia , cuts into chicken finger sized pieces , coats in flour with a pack of taco seasoning , deep fries in oil and we use the dipping sauce for them. Hit a food truck yesterday : shrimp po boy. Their special sauce was Sriracha mayo as we use it on our po boys too. Try adding some to stir fry as well. Awesome for crab cakes too.
