Agree, so far so good on a mild winter. We really won't know how the critters rebound for a few years though. As above posts stated, hoping for a non wet spring for the turkeys.
That looks really good. The scallops are quite big. I just learned if they start out big and drastically shrink when cooking that they are of poorer quality as water was added to them.
November storm brought us nearly 8 feet at home. 12 minutes to work thru 30 mph zone we got 4 " I called in "sick" the first morning and my boss is like "snow ? what are you talking about ?" 4 days and 42 hours of shoveling later I got to work again to the mere dusting .
Isn't LL Bean the ones with the lifetime guarantee on everything ? I think that's the place my buddy used to shop at thrift shops back in his broke college days. Buy stuff cheap and send back to Bean and they'd cut him a check. Cheating the system ,yes. But he needed beer money Never needed a receipt. They'd pay the lowest selling price in reimbursement
I shot a pop can at 30 feet or so with a target pellet (flat nose) . It dented can with no penetration . I then shot a pointed pellet from same spot and it made hole thru both sides with no dent at all.
Do a similar mainstay on my smoker. Bite sized pieces, dash of dry rub, dab of jalapeno cream cheese ,1/3 piece of bacon toothpicked . Sometimes add a water chestnut for a little crunch. Going to try your recipe next time around. Thanks
I had a pair of Cabela's 800 insulated for years and years. They cracked at a flex point. I got back $60 in credit and applied to some camo Muck boots. Hunted in gun season the last 2 seasons and have liked them. My Cabela's had a bigger footprint so to speak. These are easier and less cumbersome to walk in
