I would do it with a smile on my face! There is nothing else in the world I would rather do than drag a buck like that out of the big woods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did anyone watch the debate last night?
Buckmaster7600 replied to Buckmaster7600's topic in General Chit Chat
I remember during the last presidential primaries when I told people that I was voting for trump being told that it was a wasted vote and that he didn’t have a chance. I’m tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. I’m tired of voting for someone because the other ones worse or because I hate the other guy more. I think the tides are turning, it’s most likely not going to be this election and it might not be the next or the one after that but two party politics aren’t going to be around forever. Not every issue is black and white, Democrat or republican. I’ve switched parties 4 times in my 12 years of voting and I’ve realized I don’t fit in any party. I want freedom, I don’t care if you want to marry someone of the same sex or identify as a frigging dinosaur, I don’t care if you want to smoke pot, I don’t care if you want to have an abortion, all I want is for everyone to pay their share of taxes, and for that money not to be wasted on useless shit and for the Government to stay out of my life and to be left alone. Unfortunately the republican candidate doesn’t agree with me on enough to earn my vote. So I will vote for whom I think will do the best job. I will make a wager that if you add all the votes for Molinaro and Sharpes votes don’t equal Andy’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

That’s probably because Molinaro sucks! The fact that he is the Republican candidate is the exact reason why I am no longer a registered republican. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

You’re probably right, Molinaro is probably all we have but the more research I do on him the less I like him. I’m to the point where I don’t even think I can vote for him. I hate voting third party because it’s a wasted vote but I don’t see another option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I thought both of them looked like total idiots. I almost turned it off when they were arguing about who was more corrupt, give me a frigging break! This is the best candidate that we can come up with against Andy. Sad to say but we are screwed again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don’t know what kind of jackets you wear but I’ve never worn the crotch out of a jacket? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Me to, I wore the pants out In 1 season of deer hunting and I only wore them hunting up north. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m amazed by all the love for the cabelas “wooltimate” I bought a set when it was on sale a few years ago. Wore the crotch out in less than a year, it has a very loose weave that makes wool wear fast. The one I had had a liner in it that was loud and made me sweat way too fast, that’s another attribute of wool is that it’s very breathable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes I have, haven’t found anything better than pure wool. There is a reason people that are outdoors the most wear wool and have for a long long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Blended wool is terrible, 100% virgin wool is the only way to go. Warm, silent, doesn’t hold scent and warm when wet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is losing deer an inevitable occurrence?
Buckmaster7600 replied to zeus1gdsm's topic in Deer Hunting
Can’t beat yourself up too bad, it will happen to everyone. All you can do is learn from it and do everything you can to not have it happen again. It’s happened to me and the worst part is when you know you could have done something to helps prevent it whether it’s more shooting practice or not take the shot. I’ll never talk anyone out of buying a new gun but I’ll tell you this I don’t think you can get a much better deer cartridge than a 308. Heavy soft points aren’t the best expanding bullets. Buckmaster7600 replied to pitweiler's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Don’t have to, I’m usually waking a long ways in the darn and usually unload it for the walk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Had an awesome first day in the Dacks. Let 2 bucks go one I’ll probably regret! Probably a 120” 8pt at 30yds. Other was a basket 6 or 8. Shot a big male coyote and saw a cow moose. Woods are loud a lot of leaves still on. Zero buck sign in the 9 miles I walked today. Going to try a different mounting in the morning. Perfect still hunting conditions with the wind hoping for the same tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another age him and guess weight buck
Buckmaster7600 replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I think 4 and dressed he’ll go 180. If you would have whacked him the other day we would have an accurate PA chest girth and know exactly what he might weight! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
If I was you I would use a 220gn hardcast semi was cutter. Loaded as hot as possible. That load should darn near go need for end of a deer. Don’t take much of what you see on YouTube for fact many of those videos are from down south when deer are half the size of ours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Depends on what you’re after. Until I see signs of rut activity “actual chasing not rubs and scrapes” I avoid hunting sign. Mature bucks want to be alone. I hunt up high hoping to catch him and I don’t want to bother the does that will help me get him later in the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
