  2. lol damn phone typing....Opinions not options...although as you can see there are plenty of options too! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. An area you don't skimp on....cold, wet feet means hunts over! Rubber is best for sent control and the LaCross 3mm good for early and 7mm for the cold are priced right and get awesome reviews! I own Mucks for shed hunting, trail cam checks, stand and blind prep and own a of Cabelas 1400 Still hunters when in the blind or stand. A little bulky for being stealth and quiet on the walk in and definitely not a spot and stalk boot for sure but this will be 4th season and they work great! I just picked up a lighter boot with a $40 pair of Arcticshield boot covers! (Wife saw the article I had read and got them for me, great woman!) Fit in the pack neatly and have heard nothing but great stuff....the article was from a hunter in WI forgot his boots (????) and had the shields in his truck, wore over his sneakers on an all day stand hunt in 26 degree day....didn't do a hard sell trying to push them but did say it saved his hunt! 4. They should be shot on sight! They destroy the entire Eco about them in other states like Texas and the 47 others they are found in currently when not even indigenous to North America! Good eats but dangerous in the woods for all habitat! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Guys have really strong options about different products that they have no experience with but bc their favorite TV host or hunting mentor instilled it in them the tow the line. There are pros and cons to both and you can be certain not all products are created equal that's a fact! The set up you shoot, arrows, region (woods density), altitude and game (not meaning bear or deer but Whitetail, Mule or Coues) can influence it as well. I use both fixed and mechanical. I love my Wasp Hammers, NAP (mechanical 2", no collar deploy on impact) KillZones and last year had to try the new Toxic and harvested a slow walking buck at 9 yds. My shot was a little far back, liver and the buck jumped 6 feet vertical ran 15 feet stopped, I nocked a Wasp, Hammer for follow up shot but never hooked my release as the deer fell in less than 1 minute. Personally, if I hadn't done it I wouldn't have believed it! I hunt the North East, NY bow only and carry 3 different broad heads in my quiver (all tried under variable conditions, tuned to my arrows and am 100% confident in all). My point is don't use something because "he or she said" try a couple different things. The guys here named some great products like the SlickTrick (I like the 4 blade bigger wound channel), NAP, G5's....Rage and Muzzy are both solid too. I hope this is helpful.
