1. Again, I’m not saying that bucks aren’t rutting. I’m saying that their activity is affected. To completely discount the affect that record heat has on buck activity is moronic, even you know that. How much does it affect them is up for debate sure.

This isn’t some wild opinion Belo holds

Argue with biologists and experts if you want, we know that’s your MO. Somehow the deer industry is paying these guys to tell you deer move more at night when it’s warm to get more research dollars.

So is it your contention that if we have a warm November the whitetails wont breed, causing a huge population crash?! I dont know man...

2. Well that was the best sit Ive had in years. Three bucks, one a real nice 8. They were 75 out or so but cruising. Later I watched the big one ease a doe down the powerline and into some cover. A while later he came back out an went away from me followed by a smaller 8. I was hoping theyd head towards my buddys son who I took out today but he didnt see them. He did see two four pointers. This was the only deer I was truly close to but what a show. Dont stay home in early

Are we playing whatabout? You haven't been paying attention, Biz, as I have been very consistent on this.

I'm all for peaceful protest, but when you destroy property you should be arrested and tried.

When you loot, you should be shot on sight.

When you attempt to overthrow a government, you should be arrested and tried.

When you break into the seat of government, chanting "hang the VP," you should be shot.

Why should Biden be in jail again? And which Biden? The Jim Carrey one, or the James Woods version?

We can go crazy for crazy on either side and be here all day

4. talk about bad luck......I have scored 33 more points than cachemoney but he's 6-2 while i'm 1-7?
mlammerhirt has played against 702pts this year, while I have played against 1,017!

Teams show up to play you!

5. I thought about this as well. It's nice when it's a long slow sit, but I've for sure looked down for too long reading something and looked up to see a deer snuck in.
Main thing for me is safety. Nobody getting ahold of me is nice, but I have a wife and kids and if I did have an accident myself, I need that phone.

The phone has definitely gotten me into some predicaments but I cant say its actually cost me one. The Nockturnal very nearly did this year, it turned on when I nocked and as I'm trying everything in my pack to turn it off three does came in behind me.

6. I had Tacks for my fantasy hunt team didn't I? Atta boy!!! Hell of a deer- upon autopsy was the shot lung and liver?

Clipped one lung and hammered liver. He was DOA but I didn't like what I saw/heard so I waited. Rarely a bad decision!

My dad and I are both running multiple cams on our properties and if I'm honest I've had several recent hunts with shooters in range and never on cam. Both our properties have been a little dead lately on cams, but in the woods it's shown otherwise.

Just a word of caution to all the cam users out there, to not just rely solely on them for activity indicators.

I just pulled a standard cam thats 50 yards from the cell cam thats gotten two pics in two weeks, its absolutely covered up in bucks lol

8. I use HuntStand and just like all the others the lines can be close but not exact. I had the land surveyed when i purchased it and I have plotted the survey markers on HuntStand. The lines are definitely different, but this probably has more to do with the accuracy of the phones GPS and the amount of cover. Most smart phone GPS' are only accurate to about a 15' radius if there are no obstructions. Once you add in thick tree cover that radius can increase quite a bit.
I like HuntStand for some of the other free features, Map and location sharing is great when you are out with other hunters, and you want to be sure you are not each other's line of fire. or if someone gets lost or just needs assistance getting a deer out.
I also like the "Track" feature that allows me to walk or ride a trail and accurately map it out. I have found that many times I was not where I thought I was.

Where is that feature? Im struggling with HuntStand
