  7. My theory on hearing gobbling on the roost is that weather has nothing to do with it. If that Gobbler is roosted with his hens he may gobble a time or two but not much more. If he’s roosted without hens he gobbles continuously to get them to come to him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. What I like to do is buy a 10lb bag at BJs and stomp on it with baby laxative. I’ll get 20lbs out on the street and no ones the wiser Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. We had a great morning two birds gobbling , they flew down and a bunch of hens appeared out of nowhere. Gobbler went into full strut about 70 in front of me and the Jake was in range. Then they all got together and walked the opposite way of course. No way to get around them so I backed out. I don’t think I was going to have much luck with all those hens around anyway Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. If I get any smarter I’ll be twins Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. They just got four innings in before it was called, absolute monsoon the entire game. Emma walked and had a nice hard line drive single to right. She smoked it over first base and the RF was right there I couldn’t believe it lol. It had triple written all over it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Agreed. I dont mind a big strike zone, just not way outside. They play Lancaster tonight hopefully the rain holds off
  13. If you put Luna and Kunox on that bloodtrail you’d receive a bill for grooming Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. And so it goes with older bows... Was hoping a ready to hunt package was going to sell quickly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Yeah it was raining ball peen hammers until I git west of Hamburg
  16. I just hated to see that battle end with that call. If it was high or low, fine, but not a pitch a kid cant possibly reach. Sadly they all are taught that with 2 strikes if you can possibly put the bat on it youd better do it, dont leave it to the umpire
  17. It turned out to be a gorgeous morning, at least west in Dunkirk where I was first and then here in Clarence
  18. @turkeyfeathers shamed me into going back into the woods at 10:30, I heard a bird gobble a couple times so I setup and worked him for well over an hour. He gobbled, came in but I decided it was too far, he walked away hammering to every call I made but wouldnt turn around. A jake comes in silent and that seemed to bring the tom back. He came in to 15 yards and went to full strut and...MISFIRE! By some miracle I cycled that shell out, put it back in and promptly missed him lol. It was one of the best hunts I've ever had but no bird
  19. But who won?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. I setup and had two gobbling 40 yards in front of me, they flew down and strutted right in front of our truck lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. Sit tight or go the other direction, come back to them in an hour or so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. It’s actually clear here in Fredonia I can see the stars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
