  1. I know velvet makes them look larger, but that right side looks like a good sized 4 point antler . I would have a hard time passing him if he gave me a shot .. unique deer no doubt.
  2. Agreed, I have thick camo wool winter hats to pull down over my ball caps . Heck I have wool ball caps to double up when it’s really cold . But was convinced of the usefulness of the boonie hats, so going to get one for warmer weather hunting .
  3. Haven’t bought mine yet, but have been shopping on midway USA and they have a few nice ones . Soon I will own a couple.
  4. I assume the dashes your talking about are the tic marks on the EZV ? If so yes. One uses the 20-30- 40 tic marks to make sure it’s the right insert for the speed of your bow honestly I’ve never found the no peep not bright enough .
  5. I bought a anchor sight a few months ago, and I was shocked how large it is. I think I like the size of my no peep better . When timberline went out of business, I bought a few spares to keep just Incase I needed them.
  6. Geez forgot about Ny outdoor news, thats my only one I still get ..
  7. Moved back to 30 tonight and not shooing to bad. I swapped out the 18-1 for my rinehart rhino block so I could see how I did on a solid brown deer target( at 30 I can’t see my black out line ) . Had a stray arrow here and there but considering this is the second string of shots with this sight , I am happy.
  8. Not going to lie, water wheelies are just fun..
  9. I used to get a bunch , bow and arrow ( a very very good archery mag that folded ) bowhunter, guns and ammo , hand loader, hand gunner. As more and more info became available on the internet, I let them lapse.
  10. So wife and I went up on the 27th for their mud prom. Well I was going through their photos that they post on Facebook and low and behold they snapped a couple of me going hammer down in a mud hole they call the soup bowl. And of course I got a few of the misses ..
  11. I had to google it, there is a Mexico NY in Oswego county...
  12. Agreed, 700+ hp with a warranty, who’d thought it would happen.. Different strokes for different folks..
  13. Agreed, My wife says that when we ride our atv’s that I am reliving my youth. I am , and I am ok with that. No tickets involved...
  14. Wnybuckhunter your braver than I, shortly after I got my truck I was heading back to work from getting gas on lunch and there’s a long straight stretch through town. Stoped at a light and a kid pulls up next to me in a Chevy truck with a aftermarket exhaust , hits the loud pedal a few times and I look over and he’s looking at me. I thought about it , but came to my senses . He punched it when the light turned, and I just drove normal .
  15. I actually am surprised it’s taken this long for the NY Democrats to start rolling out more useless gun laws. But as the saying gos never waist a tragedy, the shooting in California has everyone on guard again. Its only going to get worse guys..
  16. I like deer with odd racks, I bet you see him again..
  17. Notice in my photos I use a old timberline no peep( the original before the anchor sight ). I haven’t used a traditional peep in 15+ years . My son and wife also use a no peep, We all love shooting this way.
  18. Yes sir, I always flex my arrows it’s a habit now..
  19. I never usually shoot one spot at 20 or even 30, but wanted to see how I grouped with this new sighting concept.
