  1. Awesome seats. There was enough room to invite me. Haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I'm still interested in the property. I know it is early for next year but I always like to be prepared. Actually it's this years hunting season. Let me know so I can get my self situated and maybe come up during the summer and help around the land if your parents need any yard work done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. What are you looking to get for the land. I'm more then respectable. Don't mind pushing the quad to trails to avoid aggravation for your parents. I hunt with one other person. Quiet in and out of all sites. I will even give them some of the meat harvested. Let me know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I have a climber I took suggestions on the type of bow holder and that worked out perfectly now I'm trying to see what height everyone goes up to and how many pull up lines do you use. Camo or face mask. Post pictures as I will post some once I get back out there. I have paint but prefer the face mask. In case anyone was wondering it's my first year deer hunting I usually harvest small game and a lot of ducks. Yes I am full of questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I use a climber and harness and I don't go 60' in the air. Be realistic and don't abuse it. I love it and respect it for what it does. With anything if your careless and rough on gear then things go wrong. Safety first. I bought my harness before the stand. Safety safety safety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I haven't went raccoon hunting or anything at night due to there being so many deer out. I don't want to scare them away. It used to snow by thanksgiving and cold before that. SOON IT WILL BE ON. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I went to a spot today and noticed I can't get in the woods it is so overgrown. There has to be a ton of deer jumping all around that I can see. The road is less then ten feet from the trail that walks around the woods. So clear shooting and safety are compromised here. Who creates or clears the trails. I looked for rules and regulations for ny dec land but I don't read anything that even references maintenance of trails. Anyone have any answers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I got my holder delivered the other day it's just like fast eddies. I still prefer the rail to sit it on but the bow holder is awesome. I didn't have to move much to grab it. My only other question is what about my other stuff any other kind of hooks anyone can suggest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It's on my rail on my stand. I just ordered a holder. I see many of you mention putting it between their legs. Which holder is that and is that the best place. I don't want to be flailing my arms around reaching for my bow. What kind of stand is it on that its in front of you. Any pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I just ordered the third hand bow holder. Thanks for all the opinions in this post. Glad I joined it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Here they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So back to the question why don't they come out during the day. I will put up the picture I took last night. I can walk right up to them and they don't even run. Why do the deer during the day take off with the slightest sign of human contact. I think these deer are sent by the dec to see if anyone's poaching. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have apple trees in my yard i don't actually buy them food I just throw them out further in the yard so they don't eat my hostas. I don't put out corn or anything like that. It's on the ground in my driveway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I was wondering the same thing. I just got a nice climbing stand and need a bow holder. I have the front safety bar would it even work for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I do hunt yet I feed the deer the apples off my trees in my yard they are like pets. The crazy question I have is during the day they are nowhere to be found but around 6:30-700 pm. They come to my yard to see what I put out for them. One even comes to my door if nothing is out there. There has to be about ten of them hanging out in the yard they eat my peaches every year like clock work. Does anyone have an answer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
