Dead deer and fairly quick too imo. The arrow most likely broke on the offside leg when he took off. If you really hit where the arrow is then I doubt the o side shoulder could have broken the arrow...not impossible but unlikely. Either way,you got lots of vitals with that shot. I think dead deer and crappy blood trail. Good luck!!

managed to pick the wrong spot again. I thought it would be perfect this a.m. bit the deer are somewhere else. Beautiful morning though.

The big shuffle has started. There is no more pattern until the last doe is bred.

Sadly I was right, saw nothing but one gray squirrel. I will try a location closer to some thick stuff this p.m. Crazy how bare the woods are,all the oaks dropped the leaves here.

Up and in but not having high hopes, but I would love to be wrong. This is the highest I climbed in a good while, just had enough rope to get up here. Lone squirrel so far....

I just saw deer out and about in the shade mostly on my drive home from work. They are still doing deery things...

night temps look way up there too for the weekend. I don't think morning or afternoon will make much of a difference. I may sit all day depending on the wind direction for my few know funnels.

Like Airedale said, most are complacent, until it starts to affect them, and by then the price of gas, food, housing and property taxes have already gone up and the Feds are coming for your freedom.
That's where the visionary Grouse comes in,beating his dead horse until there's nothing left. Congrats on all the converted souls on here.

How many like minded people here that love hunting and freedom? Quite a few. Not you of course Bowman.
Advice for people? I think the worst vice is advice.
I would post more outdoor related info if so many ankle biters didn't chew up whatever I post with snide remarks and foolish comments. I truly feel if those are the only members reading them, they're not worthy of them. If members who would appreciate those posts ask for them, I'll post them. But I don't see many requests, so I don't.

I would be willing to bet there is a lot more here like Grouse than there are for a non citizen socialist as yourself, most here let the political stuff slide and do not get involved and that can be a big problem as a group outdoorsmen and gun owners are way too complacent and need a fire lit under their asses.
Al
oh I know I am somewhat special, haha. But if Grouse has three politically like minded people telling him how they feel I wonder who is really like minded,i.e. overzealous.

Notice who tries to distract and misdirect the thread. Must be die hard Biden supporters, or they wouldn't even come to the political section to post their whining.
Why don't I do "Live from the Woods"?
Because I LIVE in the woods. I've been hunting for 52 years now and could tell stories about hunting for days that would make you envious. But I have two great loves in life, hunting and freedom. That's why I follow politicians and the government. I can multitask, meaning I can think about both at the same time. I think both are very important.
My schedule is not like most, I can hunt or fish from Tuesday noon until Friday noon. Those are my times. I love being outdoors when the weekend warriors are not. It's much quieter and I can really concentrate. I don't have internet access when I'm outdoors, and wouldn't want it if I did. I'm out there to find peace and solace. Respite from all the lunatics that infest society, as well as interaction with people who don't interest me.
I'll post things about hunting that impress me. Or maybe a scene like my driveway on a nice morning. I'm not interested in critics. I'm here for like minded people.
How many like minded people have you found here? I am pretty sure you left no stone unturned at this point...seriously curious.

Hell, the Democrats said the election was stolen from Al Gore.
They decided to stop complaining about election results and just steal them.
Maybe you should learn from them. You and your cohorts have been crying.a lot longer and louder than the dems did back then.

Let me repeat the start of this thread, so as to counteract the distraction and misdirection that has infected it. If you don't like this post, ignore it.
A wise man speaks, because he has something to say. A fool speaks just to say something.
I have something to say. you act morally superior, like a victim and worthy of friendship.

Once again, I ring a bell and you come running. Damn, dude.
I clarified the bullshit Canadian AS thing that you regurgitated from a July tweet as I have a little actual experience with AS. At this point, I should think you have enough life lived to develop original thought and not continually have to parrot others. You're like the nutty conspiracy version of that college guy in Good Will Hunting.
How's your stated, "I'm ready to sacrifice my body or life for the cause" thing working out for you? Have you found your goal? Your raison d'être? Once decided, will you get the word "warrior" tattooed under the snowflake? I'm thinking that "Snowflake Warrior" would be an very cool username for you.
My morning:
By the way, it's "deep seated" not "deep seeded." Common mistake.
That is pretty lefty. Here is a view I had today...

A man with principles that he will defend, will always have enemies. No, I never wonder. I love the people that are my enemies, because they truly represent all that is wrong with society.
Not your enemy,I do feel a bit sorry for you though...
I am all ready and excited for the big flush coming Tuesday!
