  1. I agree with you, not mad about the cameras more pissed that I've been scouting and hunting hard for weeks for a let a spot settle for a few weeks for the last weekend and got my last weekend jacked by a jacka$$.  Just frustrating!!!
No doubt about it. Very frustrating. This spot too was my only private spot down here. Looked dynamite on paper but ive had problems all season with people messing with my stuff.

  2. Not really happy this morning, had about about 2 hr sit this morning before having to attend a conference for work.   I really wanted to pull my cards to see the activity for the last weekend.  As I walk towards the spot where I placed my cameras, I noticed I don't see the straps holding them up.  Yes someone came on private property 30 min walk from a road or field and jacked two fo my cameras.  I will be knocking on doors later today, knowing I will never see the cameras again, it's just super frustrating someone would do that not on their property.
Same thing happened to me last weekend in 3s

Sometimes mature deer will bed where they can watch guys walk in and out. Seen it many times with big old bucks. If there's a solid trail for hunters to walk, or a common area for foot traffic, they will prob continue to bed there. If there's a bunch of drives put through the heart of the bedding than that could have them searching for alternate bedding. My 3cents

I agree with that. It seems like if guys are just walking through and the deer wont feel threatened they will still bed there but if hunting pressure is put on there then they will search for other areas

  4. Thats what I was thinking but the spot seems to hold deer and I still have seen deer coming in and out of there as well. Seems to be a crapshoot to me.  The unit is not very big. Not many places where the deer feel safe

  5. Hey guys,

I hope everyones season is going well.  I wanted to get everyones opinion on something.  I hunt a very pressured piece of public.  It borders on private property.  The deer are very hard to pattern here with all the pressure but through alot of off season scouting I have them somewhat patterned.  I know where they are primarily bedding but I see alot of hunters come in and out of there bedding area. (Which is on private property).  If these deer are pressured out of there bedding area how long will it take before they return to that area/will they return to that area?

thanks in advance for the input

  6. I have a 4 pin sight and i have noticed at times my sight line goes to the lower 3 pins which arent set to any distances. Do you recommend setting the lower 3 pins to a distance or keeping em where they are and just shoot with the top pin set to its distance?
