    i'm really liking these little 4x scopes especially the 3030. the top target is my 3006 the bottom is the 3030.those high to the right where all the last shot from 5 shot groups? i'm not sure if it was a hot barrel or not never seen that before.it got to windy to keep going.maybe tomorrow.

    can't help with the steelhead.but for the bass i use a 7' medium/heavy st.croix with a pflueger president [6930] for the most part,to be honest i have 10 set ups for freshwater depending on what and where is it necessary not at all.You did say if your fishing off land or a boat? i don't using like baitcasters when fishing from land.but on my boats i use st.croix's with abu garcia's black max's baitcasters.all i use is st.croix rods so can't speak for othere brands. hope that helps a little.

    I never used one but I'd be curious how real it looked. You could use one of those cap mounts kits with the felt or if can find a real skull.

    just a tip if you don't already know is to replace the rods with wood dowels.if you hit one it will break instead of ripping your unit a part.

    i saw an episode of foxpro furtakers that did the samething.I just don't understand the logic behind it if the yotes are coming to the call why send out your dogs? it looked a little dangerous for the dogs.but to each his own.

    i just walk the runs and anywhere i feel there bedding/feeding.Without a dog it's a crap shoot.

    good stuff guys i going to get busy the next rainy day. i gave my mother about two dozen shed for her flower bed not one of her dogs ever touched them,granted they where/are all pocket dogs.They still chew the hell out of a pigs ear.

    Over the yeas i've picked up a bunch of sheds Every year i try to figure out what i can make out of them.I made a nice coat rack out of a few spikes.I'd like to try and do a light or a bow holder.I'd do a gun rack but no one would see it in the safe So whats everyone do with there's?
