  1. Me personally, when dealing with a deadly weapon that can hurt or kill someone I'd go with a company I can trust and more importantly, a company who's pockets are deep enough to compensate me should something go wrong in order to protect their reputation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I haven't taken enough to know the difference but if what every body says is true then the decision really boils down to more meat or better tasting tender meat. I'll let nature decide which one she wants to give me and I'll be thankful of whatever she decides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I would have try to do the same thing. Good job, sir. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Strangely enough, at the archery range, I do tend to see what others are doing. Once at the range, I saw a guy come in and shoot his bow with a whisker biscuit and he had the arrow upside down. I said word for word "excuse me sir, but aren't you shooting the arrow upside down?". He snaps back in a loud voice. "No it's not!" I just shrugged and went about my day. He shot another round of horrible groups and then decided he didn't want to shoot any more the rest of the day and simply sat there until his buddy was done. Some people just have too much pride. (His buddy by the way, shoot with a drop away rest.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Usually when I'm at the range just getting my work in. The only people I might pay attention to is the person to the left and right of me.
  6. I took my wife's younger sister to the range once because she wanted to fire a gun for the first time. She is a fairly attractive young woman. A small crowd of men stopped to watch. I'm not so sure if they were ogling at her or if they were waiting for a "women and guns gone wrong" YouTube moment. After a few rounds of which she showed that she can shoot the rifle without making a complete fool out of herself, the crowd dispersed. I wonder if it was a guy instead that I was showing how to shoot would there be as many "concerned" onlookers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Big doe during MZ season 2 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I do all that in less than an hour. The amount of money you'll spend on a dummy, I'll do it for much cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Putting a dummy in a tree stand during during the off season? How is that any different from when I go up there during hunting season? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Keep in mind that the products made in China is like products made any where else in that they are made specifically to the buyers (distributing company) request. It's not like a US company ask China to make the best product possible and then China sends them crap. If so, why the heck is the US company still doing business with China? In reality, it's the US company that is approaching China and asking China to make a product at minimal cost so they can turn around and offer it at a discount price. If the company is a Chinese own company, then I would be concerned. Customer service will be a hassle due to lack of regulations and simply dealing with a company overseas. If the company is US owned but has their products manufactured (or imports their products from) in China, then I would not be concerned at all because the US company has their quality control in place. One of the reasons why I would not buy this bow is that its is actually not Amazon selling the bow. They are only fulfilling the order. It is actually ASC Inc who is selling the bow. If the bow arrives defective, you can't take it up with Amazon (who's customer service is awesome). You have to take it up with ASC Inc and frankly, I don't know anything about ASC Inc.
  11. Cut them into strips. Sprinkle some black pepper. Cover them lightly with flour. Pan fry over medium heat for just a few minutes. I never measure the time. I test them by feeling how firm they are to know when they're done.
  12. I am not sure of the legality right now of selling ammo but if it's legal, I'm willing to purchase some off of you. Interested in 20 gauge sabot rounds. What kinds do you have?
  13. Where the heck have you been? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Rage versus G5 Montecs? I hear the Rage doesn't penetrate as well if it his shoulder blade (especially with lighter poundage bows)? But obviously the cutting surface is awesome.
  15. Guess strapping a deer on top of your car isn't such a great idea after all.
  16. I haven't seen any cook books dedicated purely to small game but most cook books do divide themselves into separate chapters which includes small game. These are two that I have: http://www.amazon.com/Dressing-Cooking-Wild-Game-Waterfowl/dp/086573108X http://www.amazon.com/Sporting-Chefs-Favorite-Wild-Recipes/dp/1886571503/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1413264984&sr=1-3

  19. http://store.nalgene.com/product-p/mini%20grip%20loop%20top.htm http://store.nalgene.com/product-p/flask.htm
  20. They sell them in different sizes. I never bought a smaller one since I have that metal one I bought at some fund raiser so I might as well use that but I'm sure you can find a right sized Nalgene. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I use a metal water bottle during some "save the earth, use less plastic bottles" event of some sort I stumbled into. For longer trips, I use a plastic Nalgene bottle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, it does get over crowded and it does get crazy at times. Also, keep in mind raft there is an outdoor police shooting range next door which accounts for some of the gunshot noise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I order mines online. Usually arrives in 2 or 3 business days. http://www.duckstamp.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=W&Category_Code=FDS
  24. Remember that it's shotgun and muzzleloaders only.
