    I am in the same boat, Taco... I am not getting the time in the woods that i anticipated. I am hopeful this changes starting this weekend.

    I've seen a bunch of rubs showing up and a 6 or 8 pt cruising nose to the ground in the afternoon... 8G. Should be a great weekend!

    What Al says here. I've only had it a few times but I think it is one of the best dishes going. I've had min crock potted in a stew. Great flavor and Im sure you would like it.

    Made it out for a few hours after leaving work early... I got to see a nice 8 cruising nose to the ground! Thats all I saw tonight but it sure felt good to kick this nasty cold and get back out there. Going out for the last hour tomorrow if all works well!

    I am on the list... I've see one little spike, passed a four pointer and got busted by a big six at 25 yards... Tried to draw while he was staring at me but it was do or die at that point. Was hoping he didn't get what was going on but no such luck.

    I did see my first rub in 8G this past Sunday morning but saw nothing moving. I have to think there are "pockets" of rut activity popping up. I need more time in the woods

    11-03 Out in 8G again... sick as a dog the past few days but forced myself to get out. Saw nothing in a new area I checked out but I am starting to see some rubs here and there.
