  1. Note to self .. Add coffee beans to kit
Get the espresso chocolate covered ones, they kill 2 birds at one time.

Little sugar for immediate, and a little more caffeine for later if needed.

  2. My buddy who studies game theory told me weeks ago that this was the play: knowing that the mail-in vote would swing Democrat, Trump would claim victory the day of the election then as the mirage dissipated, he'd claim fraud and that "they" were stealing the election. He hit the nail on the head. It was so, so predictable.
Despite the fact that each state's policy for counting votes and deadlines was clearly established prior to the election.
Despite that the counting is still going on in states that he has already won (like Texas, where last I saw only 86% of the vote had been counted). No lawsuits filed there though.
And despite the fact that both parties have had many, many observers present as the counting occurs, to ensure transparency.
I think that Biden is a milksop and Harris is dangerous. But I respect the rule of law.
Hope you respect the rule of law when they come to take your guns as well.

  3. Couldn’t login this morning. Anyway it was 50* no real wind hit the park a little after day break started slow along a creek not to far in I seen a doe good enough for me. I blow the shot and hit her high and back, but she dropped right there. This is my first big woods deer with the muzzle loader I’m happy as can be. It didn’t take long to drag her out because I was less then a half mile from the road. I’ll take it. Meat in the freezer. I have to get to butchering her it’s warm out.

  4. DEC regs discuss how far from a house but I could not find info regarding a road

Just found this, no distances found.

    From NY regs

The Environmental Conservation Law prohibits you from discharging the firearm, crossbow or longbow in such a manner that the arrow, bolt, bullet or load of shot passes over any portion of the highway, which may include maintained portions including the shoulder, drainage ditches, etc.

  5. So basically our choice is to have our AR's seized (give me money or not, you're still taking my gun against my will) or pay a ridiculous tax like you would on a machine gun? Where the cumulative tax over the years may be many times the worth of the gun? Even Cuomo isn't this bad.
And before anyone says "they're not taking your guns", how else could the following be explained?
    • Regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act. Currently, the National Firearms Act requires individuals possessing machine-guns, silencers, and short-barreled rifles to undergo a background check and register those weapons with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Due to these requirements, such weapons are rarely used in crimes. As president, Biden will pursue legislation to regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act.
    • Buy back the assault weapons and high-capacity magazines already in our communities. Biden will also institute a program to buy back weapons of war currently on our streets. This will give individuals who now possess assault weapons or high-capacity magazines two options: sell the weapons to the government, or register them under the National Firearms Act.
How do you buy something back that you never owned in the first place?

  6. I hunt a doe rich population on public land on LI and will take a doe early, but prefer to pass on does with small fawns. In October, if I see the fawn, the doe typically will get a pass, not always, but generally. Last year, on my first sit, I drew on a doe (with a decent sized fawn that appeared fully weaned). She was spared by a small 8 who made the ultimate sacrifice.
