  1. If the knock did spin, that's a definite possibility.
  2. I'd ask them if you can retrieve it. But if it only a few yrs in, I'd just go grab it.
  3. Drop away rest. Difficult to not have it seated correctly.
  4. I actually have some in there. Able to twist the shaft when knocked, but it's difficult with just my fingers. Just shot with all my gear on. First was 2“ left, next 4 we're dead nuts. All will the same broadhead. So, either I fudged up and forgot everything about follow through over the 40+ yrs of bowhunting, or string caught something. Either is possible I guess.
  5. Surprised the hell out of me. Possible string caught my binoculars, but I think I would have felt that. The lighted knock isn't super tight and easy to twist when arrow is knocked, so also possible my vanes hit the cable. And there wasn't a twig between him and I. heading out to shoot in a few. I'll put my harness and jacket on and see if I figured it out.
  6. My pse stinger x is about 7 yrs old and kills fine. And my nephew is still using the bow you gave him. If you choose to believe otherwise, that's on you.
  7. Agreed. Been there myself. I actually laughed when he walked over and sniffed the knock. I'll hopefully get another crack at him. Things are really heating up fast. Hopefully I can figure out what happened this morning. Took a couple shots Friday afternoon with no issues, and there was nothing between him and I except air.
  8. What a fantastic hunt this afternoon. Until I missed... Had 8 doe and fawn coming walking by at 15y. Finally a nice 8pt followed. Have no clue what happened, but my arrow hit 5' to his left. He then proceeded to walk over and snif my green lighted knock. Got a second arrow knocked, and was about half draw when he decided to vacate the area.
  9. Just had two doe and a fawn walk by at 15y. Spike was following, but wind swirled and he turned around. Not really spooked, just knew something wasn't right. Got 6 feeding behind me now.
  10. Had a spike hounding a doe on the walk in probably 60 yrs from my stand. Ran her off into the woods. There back out in the field.
  11. Thankfully no. Got a pic of a doe about a hr later.
  12. I've got some that are probably 5-6 yrs old and have held up well. I too would rather have a metal seat with a cushion.
  13. Wow... Still trying to explain the way you vote?
  14. This was done on purpose so in a court of law the government can convict you easily because they can afford a better lawyer.
  15. And here I was getting ready to agree with you. Lol. The light switch is about to be flipped...
  16. Definitely haven't seen that before. Not sure I'd have that mounted, it's too friggin weird, lol.
  17. I've got two unopened boxes. Buddy picked these up for me by mistake. I'll trade for triple 7, 50/50, or $28.00 each. Located East of Albany.
  18. For one, they were shipped loose in a baggie. Blades out rubbing together dulling them. Blades very loose, lots of play. Tips were not machined properly and were not inline with the body of the broadhead. Arrow wobbled when spun. For a few bucks more a head, it's worth it to me to have a quality broadhead.
  19. Ya, that was posted on the previous page. That's what the latest activity on this thread is all about.
  20. $79? Ya, I'm not paying that either. Last pack of swacker I purchased was $39 for 3. I bought some rage knockoffs few yrs ago and they definitely were not even close to the quality of genuine rage heads. Never used them. Not going to risk wounding a deer for a few bucks.
  21. I've tried that. It does work as long as you don't hit a rock. Very rocky in my area. I've ruined a few bolts shooting into the ground. I have a small bag target that I leave in the truck. Works great.
  22. I use swacker broad heads with my xbow. But my nephew buys the cheapest fixed blade heads he can find and kills deer just fine. Of course, check accuracy with whatever head you choose.
