  1. Me thinks there was a hit of sarcasm in his post.
  2. I still use a 1100 NWTF. I'll have to check sometime, but IIRC, purchased it in the mid '80s. Short bbl with xfull choke. Absolute gobbler killer.

Agree. But if I caught a state record, it's going on the wall. Go to Maine every yr for a ice fishing trip to West grand lake. Did good this year. 6 guys caught over 40 fish. Lakers, salmon and whitefish. Biggest Laker was 24". Had to toss it back as this lake has a 23" to 32" slot limit.

Ya, I noticed that. Buddy of mine read they pulled this through a 8" hole. No wonder it's not too pretty.
  5. Congrats on a great tractor. I've got a set of R1 and R4 for my 3320. It's a different animal with R1s. But I use my tractor on a lot a client's lawns, so the R4s get more use.
  6. I'm sure the fireplace is a good amount of support for that wall. Make sure to add studs to make up for removing the brick. I'd cap the top of the chimney, then stuff insulation in the fireplace. Maybe cut a sheet to fit the opening and seal with great stuff foam?
  7. Never heard of this auction It's every month? Surprised they have enough inventory for a every month auction.

  9. Carter release is one of the best. I've got a prototype from about 20 yrs ago called the " insatiable hole". Rep gave it to me when I was a archery tech.
  10. 30+ thousand die every year from the flu. Why don't we see the senators asking for 8 billion to fight the flu? Is this viruses as serious as reported? IMHO, no.
  11. Ya, pretty tame this yr. Only plowed 3 times. Really hope we don't get hammered in March. 2-3 feet definitely doesn't sound like fun.
  12. Don't think it's CNN but the wildlife department. Either way I agree. Kill the ticks. Maybe it's the agency's way to justify lowering the heard numbers. Could be they received backlash from the public for wanting to reduce the heard in the past, and now are using the ticks to their advantage?
  13. Didn't realize your most vulnerable to reinjury at this stage. Makes sense though. Feeling better/stronger at this stage could make one overdue it.
  14. Good friend in Maine has seen 2 moose infested like that. There definitely spreading north at a fast pace.
  15. TF would just paste his mug on her anyway.
  16. I can't read whatever language that is, but I know exactly what she's saying.
  17. Sap should of run rather well overnight. Buddy has 175 taps. Might have to stop by and see how he's doing.
  18. I've wished my wife had interest in archery. Going traditional should be something fun for both of you to enjoy and learn together.
  19. Been seeing small flocks at a farm down the road. Not looking forward to the invasion.

    Sucker spearing

Used to go snorkeling/ spearing in the Kinderhook Creek behind my house when I was a kid. Thinking about it now has me wondering if it was legal as the khook was a trout stream. Water was normally too deep and fast for spring time runs. Was a great way to cool off in the summer, and have fun though. Dad used em in the garden for fertilizer.
  21. That's neat. Wonder if he gets to keep it?
  22. Sitting watching TV, and I get a text from my bank asking if I made a $365.00 charge in Colorado. I responded NO... Phone rang and it was key Bank fraud specialist. They caught the charge, and denied it. A $20 charge did go through. Should get that back in a week. I asked if they could tell how it was compromised, but they can't tell. Hate crooks.
