  1. Though I was ahead of the game with IT's in the mid 130's with 6+ hrs to go. Once the IT's hit the mid 150's, we hit the stall. And it was a stubborn stall, lol. 3° in 2.5 hrs. Now while technically we were in the safe zone because the safe zone for pork is 145°, if a customer or there guess even think they see pink pork, they freak out. This is why I like to take my whole hogs to the 170's. The belly meat and some of the hinds will start to pull, the rest will slice, a good mix. Got the hog to 170+ at 3pm. Pulled it from the pit and let it set for 1hr before digging in. It took less than 30 min for the 100 guests to rid said hog of anything edible. Customer was extremely happy. Said he has never tasted pork this juicy and flavorful. Got thumbs up from all their guests.
  2. Started the pit at 2am. 107lb hog went on at 3am. Flipped it onto it back around 8. The hind end is currently around 135°, the shoulders 131°
  3. Ya, that short brow would give him a pass from me, NOT
  4. Just seen a news blip saying their dropping the impeachment investigation. Part of me wants them to go after him full force, on the other hand, why cost the state millions of dollars. I'm sure this was part of the deal he brokered for himself.
  5. This has nothing to do with safety, but everything to do with crippling the out of state hunting industry. The antis will try everything to stop hunting.
  6. I believe it. I know 5 people that have tested positive in the past couple weeks. Everyone of them is vaxed. Even more interesting, two of these positives have spouses and teen children who are not vaccinated, and all have been in direct contact each and every day and the unvaccinated have not been infected.
  7. So if the smooth ones are English walnuts, my client only has one black walnut tree and around 8 English walnuts. I'm wondering if that's why I never see a squirrel touch these things? Maybe the English walnuts are not so tasty? That and he's got several hickory to keep the tree rats busy.
  8. That's exactly what I'm thinking, but it has to time out perfectly. I need my current rig until the new one is delivered. Then I have to hope I can get the truck side plow mounts and wiring installed before snow falls. If my truck isn't built until early September, I'm not going to see it until mid November. I might be screwed and forced to keep this POS F350.
  9. Same boat. My dealer has offered me $41,500 for my trade. I'm seeing my exact truck listed for $49k. My truck only stickered for $45,595. So some used trucks are listed for more than they were purchased for.
  10. So has you truck been built? If so what's the delivery date? Mine was supposed to be built 8/16, but I called today and it's pushed back to "around" 8/30. I ordered on 5/18..
  11. The post a week ago mentioned butternut was fuzzy, not smooth like this one is?
  12. I seen they had ATT, but no version.
  13. Where did you find tactacams?
  14. I knew someone on here would figure it out. Greatly appreciated.
  15. Here pics of each. First is the darker green.
  16. Client has lots of BW trees. There's only one that's a much lighter green than the rest, and the nuts are similar, but the outside texture is smoother on the darker green tree. Lighter tree and nut is on the right in both pics.
  17. I love ladder stands. Well most of them. The key is the foot platform. It needs to be large, not the little dinky ones that barley both feet fit on. If I lift up the seat, I want there to be a platform to stand on.
  18. I'm still in favor of a 1 term at a time gov, president, senate, congress. No back to back terms.
  19. Agreed. Should be like Virginia with one 4 yr term and no back to back terms.
  20. Your going to scare away the customers.
  21. I was thinking the same thing.
