Nope that is actually a marlin 22 and will end up with youngest daughter(she claimed it when uncle passed it to me ) older pump 16 westernfield goes to oldest( thats been past down three times she would be 4th)

I think 7months is about the right time to start getting him used to them. The mossberg 500 20gauge is actually already his. His grandpa bought it for him whem we found out we were having a boy. And i actually killed my biggest buck and doe ever last uear with it.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with the wolf 24inch blued barrel with the fiber optic sights. And hopefully before season starts i can get the walnut stock for it for another 150ish but that may have to wait. As much as ide like to go higher end it will have to wait. But i also dont want to get to into and have it sit there so i went with this gun. Plus my buddies all have it and never had issues. Thanks again for input.

Yea it wont be used much just trying to extend season or change it up a bit during regular season.

Wife said i could finally get a muzzleloader. On a budget of about $250 looking at cva wolf or optima v2, traditions buck stalker , or TC impact . Dont want one with a scope want to keep it a little more of a challenge and to possibly change out with wood stock in future. What do you suggest. Anyone have issues with the ones i listed? Thanks for the imput.

1st pic is my best and main plot, 2nd is on other side of hedge row to main plot and is just full of weeds( not sure why), 3rd isnt all that bad seeing how it gets very little sunlight and pictures dont give it justice. -

bear has a bunch of youth bows out that will let your kid grow into it. The cruzer comes in a bunch of of colors. This will be the one i get my 7 yr old. Just an idea. But i put a picture on here for you.

My older cousin whos the big hunter in the family (trophy wise) started me. watched him do everything hunting related tryed to mimick him. Once i got older i love every part of it. Much like most of you said the deer are calmer, you see so much more deer, get to watch the season change. My wife and kids shoot so it gives us something to do as a family. I mainly gun hunt to fill freezer and hang out with friends. I bow hunt because its an addiction.

So my daughter started her S3DA league last week, she has a qad drop away rest and trophy ridge single pin sight. Shes got a decent group but all to the right and i cant move her sight anymore. Should I move the drop away left or right if so which way. Never used drop away so still learning there quirks. And one more things her arrows seem to be kicking the fletching wnd up when it comes out before it levels back out. Any info would be great. Picture is of her group from 20mins ago.

Coyotes, lease owner hates them and he trys to get me to take his rifle out with me when i show up during bow. 2nd i had something with alot of attitude circling my tree before daylight growling at me couldnt get it to run off even trying to use my light to scare it. Would of been a little more comfortable if i had something with some knock down power

About 2-4 weeks during spring and summer. Stay away from 1st of september to opener . Then i usually have one by every stand so ill grab card and check them while in stand on my little card reader.

Finally have a plot in

Well its coming up checked camera and had a bunch of little bucks and alot of fawns along with a bunch of other critters checking it out. Kinda thin right now giving it another week and ill add some fertilizer. First picture is of a little orchard i just threw seed down. Wasnt expecting it to grow. But ill take it. -
Read the article about it yesterday and sent him a message. Wifes didnt go through, Im guessing mine did said it sent didnt get a response so not sure. Didnt expect one either with the amount of messages hes probably recieved.

I like the copper john sights. Range in price mine isnt all that expensive but i love how the pins just seem to glow brighter for me. Compared to the trophy ridge single pin i had before.
