nice problem to have. I would have to leave a bush in front of mine with a fan on it for that many pics.
-
ooooo....... that brings it up a notch. Lol. My weapon of choice would be a spinning rod but with the right setup yes.

I can skip a 4" senko under a dock better than anyone on the planet. Come at me... Challenges accepted.
-
Sucks you guys don't have a spot to just shoot and practice with the bow. I guess I take that for granted here.

went by the lease on the way to work like everyday and a nice buck standing right in front of the "Roadkill" stand. I have a cam near there - hope i got a pic. Will be there this weekend to do some work and will pull and check that card. -
That's the only way I use mine now. Made a venison Philly and a smoked sausage and spinach pizza a couple of weeks ago. Get grill temp up to 450 and it's good to go in 15 min

In your own words" Atta boy!"

How about a group hunt for Bizs woodchuck?
-
Same reason to eat corn on the cob with a spoon. Lol
-
Exactly.
-
My favorite is the boneless legs. Yummy. Lol.
-
I'm afraid there is no hope for this SENY crew. They eat corn on the cob with a spoon and they think there are "boneless wings". .... @crappyice you are barely holding this crew together. Better get the deep fryer out Tonite to save face for your region.
-
There is no such things as boneless wings . Those are chicken nuggets my friend. Be sure you get this correct before you find yourself banned from WNY.

I will take the first good size doe that comes thru. Cause then i feel that the freezer is covered i can be picky on a buck. Plus early season i tend to hunt the fringe areas of my spots first and field edges. But my goal every year is for that early doe. Otherwise i have to make decisions on that 4/5 pointer coming thru. Best case scenario for me is two doe in the freezer early and last three weeks of archery to play for a big buck.

Political humor
Robhuntandfish replied to Water Rat's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I dunno whether i will be entertained or want to hide under the bed. I feel like it a debate between these two -
so what do you use your canines for? Pictures only? You better start shooting does - they are more tender. Is that why you eat so much salmon - because its soft? i do have to say - in your pics you have nice teeth. lol

what ive noticed over the last two years is less coyote pics and sightings. I often had more yote pics than deer for a couple years and last year had very few coyote sightings while hunting. We had a really mild winter here in CNY but with the combo of the two am expecting a good bunch of young deer

looks great Moog! might want to check the visitors log though to be sure everyone signed out before slinging arrows down there though.

Yeah I bet he wanted to crawl up in the fetal position for a minute. Lol. Years ago when i was a kid. Prob 35 years ago there was a forrest ranger up there and I think his name was Bob. Real nice guy , he showed us some great trout spots. He used to "test" the water with us once in a while to make sure the trout were healthy. Lol. I used to hunt up there some usually near Payne lake. But deer were few and far between in that area. A lot of walking and very few deer . Now I just hunt southern tier near home. Been wanting to go up there and try early bear but every year the weather is so warm it seems like a big waste of time if you expect to see a bear. Maybe take the trout pole and throw the rifle over the shoulder in case.
