I actually was off the site for 3 days. This place was always different than the rest of the internet mess for the most part. Not "offended" by the language and stupid porn postings people do on here, just don't want to wade thru it when I am trying to look for news on some people's families that are nurses etc doing some great things. Just a personal preference not to have to read people arguing that they know better than others etc . It becomes like the rest of the internet that I tend to also ignore. If I owned the site I would clean a little house, but I don't so my decision to use it less is what I do. Some great folks on here keep me around. But I also notice they are posting less and less and am guessing they feel about the same way. The slurs, swearing and gay porn I can do without. When I've decided I've had enough of it completely I will just be gone. Again not offended it's just not why I am here. So been using it less and honestly haven't missed it that much. Is what it is. But it's getting old for me and fishing and turkey season is coming.

I've had it work great on chubs for trout. Have to really let them take the bait for a bit cause fish always take them headfirst. But it tends to make them try to swim and struggle to get to the bottom under a float. Thus attracting more fish over.

I remember Derek Jeter hitting a walk off - Mr November - huge moment. And Bush throwing out the first pitch. Always liked (and somewhat hated lol) big papi and Pedroia. But that team was far from overwhelming for a world series team.

thats cool. I like baseball so much better when both the Yanks and Sox are relevant. Even if the yanks go to the series i want to see an ALCS with them in it. It just means more.

I think my favorite world series might have been the yanks v diamondbacks and the yanks didnt win. But some incredible moments in that series.

so Fisks homerun means nothing either right. .. Both great moments in sports. Not all of them have to be championships. Sox coming back down 3 games is also one of those. At least for most folks. and 99% of people couldnt tell you Beckett was even pitching

i drove home for lunch and in a field there was a scene that looked like a field and stream cover. 5 Toms all fanned out with bright blue and red heads that looked like a painting. With about 1/2 dozen hens around them. Would have loved to stop and take a pic but no real place to pull over on other side and they were real close to the road so figured they would bolt. But what a sight.

Being a Yankee fan we def won something. The moment alone was incredible. One of those always remember sports events if you were watching it at the time.

i watched a couple of old Celtics/Lakers games they had on ABC. Where they talk about the games years later and what was happening at the time - behind the scenes. Pretty good stuff. ML Carr banging on the lakers locker room door on way out to the court in the 95 degree game in the garden
