Crazy, that sucks. What town? This has been going on for years. My Dad told me stories of hanging bucks getting stolen from westchester, putnam, dutchess in the 60's n 70's. He said he would never leave one hanging outside because of this. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Ya never know. 2 years ago it was 70 degrees on Sunday (2nd day of season), my Dad blew a bleat call in the afternoon and shot this 3.5yr old nice 7pt rutting hard real hard. It came charging in. I had to help my Dad drag it out, we both were in t shirts. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Agreed. No reason that come from a buck. Could be a doe. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Look at their white-washed Jeans, weird hats, Brown Leather Jacket, etc.....they look like fools!

Cool story. Welcome to the addiction. Cool to see another member from Westchester/Putnam.

Look like 2 fat slob white trash degenerates. Hopefully he falls on his big knife on the way out.

Maybe a doe bleat call at the right time could bring 1 of them chasing.

John/First Light --- A little help? Please.

I dont understand the frustration people have with Nightime pics. Those same bucks are somewhere during the day, either beddedor walking around. Regardless, they are somewhere during the day, they don't disappear. In my opinion, try moving the cameras to a different area in hopes of finding where they are during the day. These pics are doing you no good.

It's just a typical crossbow setup for deer.

The 150-grain Boltcutter has proven itself to be the most accurate hunting head on the market. The 1-1⁄16" cutting head is made from high-strength stainless steel to withstand the hardest hits and still deliver devastating performance. Designed for use with today's high-speed hunting crossbows. I pair these broadheads with Excalibur Firebolt Carbon Arrows.

Multiple bucks could be rubbing the same tree. I put a camera on a huge buck rub, and got a pic of a tiny spike smelling it and rubbing it.

Excalibur Boltcutter Broadheads (150gr.) = Enough Said! Mechanicals are wack.

If you have a Doe Tag, are you going to use it opening day or wait?
BizCT replied to burmjohn's topic in Deer Hunting
I haven't used my DMP tag in over 10 years, but I would use it on a piebald or albino doe. -
I walk .6 miles to the train station, then .7 miles to work from the train station. So 2.6 miles each day in dress shoes/clothes. However, hunting-wise I walk about 250 yards in. If I went any further I would be on someone else's property. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

I always donate the meat. When I pick up the backstraps, I pick up the skull plate with antlers. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Or still hunt through it. 2 steps, look & listen, and repeat. A 100 yard walk could take 10 minutes. Potential to sneak up on bedded deer. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

John n First Light - can you lighten these for me? Thanks! Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

What time will you be in your stand / blind / spot on opening morning?
