Wind is a joke..so heavily subsidized. We could of taken the money and bought 1 more turbine for Robert Moses power project and powered another small state.. -

They have the right to trim on a row.. I don't care what land owner says.. they need to do their jobs.. it is bigger than a land owner..eminent domain. If it is a row then trim.. maybe no chem but trim it's not rocket science -

I sill place part of the blame on the utilities..Improperly maintained rows. Yes a tree can fall bad cure the outage from a distance but its been my.experiance that they will only remove the tree that fell ..not the dozen other ones leaning over the wire.. even had one guy tell me it's job security.. which is fine untill there is a storm and instead of one random tree.falling it's hundreds... -
Scariest experience or encounter in the woods or on the water

Was out fishing with my.grandfather in his 16 ft v hull aluminum boat. Out on lake Erie out of sturgen point. Had a good few hours fishing. Waves were less than a foot.. then a t storm came in winds kicked up we were a mile off shore with a 35 hp. Motor next thing I knew a water spout is less than 75 yards off the bow I was holding on to both side for dear life ..we made it back barely with a good foot of water.or.more in the boat.. was the last time I've ever been on lake erie.. I was 14 or 15..never again -
They will be hard pan.. you may want to recover with a couple of inches of topsoil and plant a the clover vetch mix. Or only do section of the road condusive to hunting and cover just those area with top soil and plane clover..

Aspen is the #1 deer food and they will sucker from roots and stump if cut low enough.. I cleared 5 acres of aspen at ground level and now have a giant browse patch and the grouse love it as well.. red maple are prolific stump sprouters as well.
-
Stumps are easy if you left them high 4 or 5 ft.. just tip am over and pull.. if you cut them short your in for a lot of digging..or you can plunge cut several places with chainsaw and soak in desiel fuel for a few days and burn them.... or blow them up...

Late frost or they are stressed enough to think they are dying a slow death from lack of sunliggt..
