New season starts.tomorrow night . I will say the 1st few years were slow but the last 3 have really turned up interesting finds ,in construction and artifacts. Looking forward to this . Of course marathon of past seasons leading to this one on now, the only other show i am.waiting for is Lost gold of ww2. Ended last season in cliff hanger but havent seen new episodes announced

If you can see them they can see you 2x as far and 2x as clear. 160 yards making noise in a tree where they can Pin point you by sound and sight , you may as well be holding a here i am.neon arrow. Rattle.from good cover if your going to do it some place where you can only alert one of their senses like hearing, light up another like scent or sight and they will never come in.

Have 4 buddy heaters , 2 little, one big, and a green bottle top.. the little buddy is great but i found a hose ans 20 lb lp tank is a much better choice than 1 lb bottles. I dont use the 1st hour or last hour as the glow i feel will spook. Game. Gf loved it today in the glass tower i built while it was so windy and snowing.

Gonna try.it for a bear if i dont fill my.bear tag this week with my bow... just lot.less to carry than with my bow for deer hunting, all the calls and such stay home.. weighs more but carry in and out on a sling is nice.

Well I didnt get chance to post this yesterday so , had a spike come by at 8 am and this doe came out about 9 am gave me a 20 yards shot ran 20 yard bed down and died in sight of the stand , nice doe dressed 110. So went out this am to back of property took an hours walk to get there. Was just settled in and was going to read a few pages of online novel I've been reading when I heard walking ,watched this guy come across neighbors woods and as it got closer I decided I'd better shoot it though it is not biggest I have on cam at 20 yards it went behind I tree I drew and it froze. Thought about liver shot but it was only a second and it stepped out other side of tree and gave me perfect heart/lung shot at 22 yards , ran about 45 and collapsed . 1st time i broke a blade on broadhead shooting a deer. Dressed 150 or so ( notches on my 120 year old hog scale are pretty wore between 140 and 160 so I cannot get closer than 2 lbs or so. ) Update, Was 149 on butcher's scale at processor, guess the old hog scale still works!

Well cabin is on it, what size of cabin, figure 15 to 20 k if decent shape and size.. nothing else. Utility wise. Seasonal road or year round? My land is very steep if good timber they find way to cut and winch it out. Most good land here is 1000 to 1200 an acre, with smaller lots commanding more $ as city people buy it as they think they are getting a deal. , so if this was here on year round road with electric, I'd sat 65k for Land And 20 k for cabin. Maybe 10 k in timber from what you say. ,but no electric so deduct. 85 to 90 would be fair if cabin decent size and in good shape. Less if seasonal road .

I only.know local prices .wny catt allegany, chautauqua. Fingerlakes is different. Like by nyc.. plus all timber size, tree type all play into price , stumpage report show prices up from last fall winter on all species and cherry is back up to.650 common per thousand

Open sights force you to use proper form, shouldering stock properly., cheak down on comb. Just like any thing else ,practice. When i sight in a new gun I put in a sled and pull trigger remotely( non shouldered, or held by hand ) remove the human element. One that's done then practice if gun is off it's you not the gun.

I remember it as mid 90s when it went from.2 on a permit to single here in my.area, believe it was 96. As 93,94 95 I was on a permit with a good friend I know for sure.

Did you ever go to work with the flu? A cold? The flu is just as contagious and in weakened immune people causes most of the same issues covid does. Pneumonia is what kills, you dont get daily updates on how many people have the flu ,or tested for it. Just as deadly in reality. Several members of my family had it was a cough and sinus issue for a few weeks. Honestly if felt alot worse with the flu. I just cant give in to media induced hype when you look up comparisons of other diseases numbers this one is really no different. If they put out comparison numbers publicly there would be riots over all the stuff shit down.
