    I see bales of hay for sale on the side of the road. Anybody ever use them as archery targets? Do they work good or am i risking my arrows?

    Opening day I heard 3 quick shots two times. I had a turkey gobbling at me at the time and after the first group of 3 shots the woods went silent. So I was pissed.

    I heard gobbling at the crack of dawn from 2 different directions. One was responding to my calling. Then 3 rapid shots from one of those directions and not another peep the rest of the day. Going to hit private land tommorow.

    You can still buy a shotgun or rifle at mom and pop gun stores. And keep it at one of your friends/families houses outside of the city. Gander or Dicks wont sell you one since they have some BS store policies though.

    He is on Staten Island. Part of New York City. You need a license/permit to store a shotgun or rifle in the city.

    Technically the Archery is free. But you have to pay for parking in the range area. It costs 50 bucks for the year. But be ready to lose arrows in the brush. I was there Sunday morning, had one arrow disappear into another dimension. and another one hit a post and break.

    I was looking out my window yesterday and saw a Rhinoceros about 45 yards away sitting on his Rhino Ass, looking toward my house. I have 2 house cats and am always worried that the Rhinoceroses will get them. Anyway, I grabbed my shotgun and loaded 3 inch T shot HEVIShot Dead Rhinoceros rounds into it. I am using a HEVIShot Dead Rhinoceros choke tube. I snuck out my door and around the house, leveled the shotgun and let him have it. He hit the ground, twitched for about 3 days and died right there. That's one down and they are extinct.
