Dom Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 Just was given a new to me but used bow.It is a Mathews solo cam LX,bare bow,got to get set for up comming season any suggestion's would be helpful.I already have a bow that is set up and will be useing it for a back up,so i will need to first bring to shop and have them check it out for me. It is RH that's what i am and the draw is 29'' also good not sure what weight it is at now around 70lbs will know more on sat when i go to bowshop. Will be getting a new one,then it's time to go shopping.will be shooting 60lbs for now till i get use to then increase.I have a drop away on other bow but thinking of picking up wisker.and some carbon arrow's always shot alum.Will be sighting in by the end of the week. Dom Posted July 12, 2012 Author Share Posted July 12, 2012 Now that I had the bow retuned/stringed and have shot a bunch think I will stick to my old bow.Just the Mathew's is not what i am use to.It will be a good back up but not my favorite,very noisy I am glad it only cost me to replace string.I would not buy a mathew's in my opinion they are not that great. I realy was not knocking mathew's I just didnt give myself time to get ajusted to it.Sould i say not my cup of tea.I have looked at the new one's and they are not to appealing to me,my old Jenning's has done me very well and that is what I will be useing this fall.It may not be as fast as some of the newer bow's but get's the job/kill done for me.
