Amen...I can't wait to go out and see if some of those curled up plot plants plumped back up....we had a gentle rain on and off all night...more perhaps Thursday...today will be a nice break between so things soak in...

No doubt, this is going to help, but to late for the farming crops. Might help the 4th cutting alfalfa. My hay fields have already greened right up. Lawn looks green this morning too. Flock of turkeys were enjoying the bugs last. Had a lot of standing water last, but is gone now.

We had a short rain (as far as anything that would mean something). It came down prtty good for a slong as it lasted. One thing I noted was that it wasn'y flowing dow the driveway like usual. The ground was sucking it up like a sponge. We need a LOT more.

Agreed Doc. I stopped by the new house in Lima this morning on my way into work and the lawn has already greened up a bit. I hope we get more.

Well ,another round coming through. If u haven't had it yet, u will. Got 1" since 5 am.. Their's a line of storms, gusty winds, and heavy rain, preceding the strong cold front, just entering N.Y.. Could be strong. Be safe!

It was a light rain in Ontario and Webster this am . We stopped at the Farmer's Market on Holt Road and the Canopies were blowing bad and the folks had to hang onto them to keep them from blowing away as it was so windy .

radar shows green moving over us...but the yellows and reds are on either side...This is very unusual for us...I think it's the first year since we've lived here this has happened all summer...I love the cool winds though......so fresh!

Power is out here, been out for 90 minutes or so. Running on generator. Sump pump & internet......crazy!!

We got hammered with rain, probably close to 2" I'd bet.

We just got hit again. That makes over 4" of rain this week. We had brown outs this morning. Couldn't see much damage however. Few small limbs, alot of leaves.

Got it pretty good down here in Westchester,Yesterday very sunny today,
