New member from Putnam County

Hello Everyone! New member, new hunter, checking in. I live in Putnam County NY and this will be my first year hunting (I am 51). Lots to learn, and really wishing i grew up in a hunting family. Its a challenge to figure all this stuff out on your own. This forum has been a huge help.

Im the complete reverse. Im 42 grew up in hunting family and hunting camps great companionship and now find myself hunting alone or my brother.

welcome aboard! I hear ya, I diidnt grow up in a hunting family either. This place will teach you many things (some you might not want to know), take it slow and ask many questions. Good Luck!
