Way to go Bill.  You are giving me inspiration to pack my turkey hunting gear, when I head up north next weekend.  I had to take our daughter to a field hockey tournament this morning, so my turkey hunting at home in wmu 9F is done for the spring season.  Yesterday was the first of 5 mornings I hunted, that I didn’t see or hear a bird. Hopefully, I will be able to squeeze in a hunt or two this fall.

Some crock pot turkey for dinner would have been nice this evening, but we will have to settle for ground venison sloppy Joe’s.

I am still out with Cynthia trying to fire up another.

We sat earlier parallel  to each other a good 100 yards apart. Bird kept skirting our position  in earlier  Hunts.

One of us would get a shot. I was hoping the Bird would skirt my position  and head towards Cynthia.

I shot this Bird Low with the Steven's. Mortal wound and he flew. Cynthia actually  moved closer and got a shot at the slow- slow flying Gobbler and may have clipped it as well.

I found the Gobbler in heavy Foilage and he tried to get away. I finished him off.

Her Buddy  Lewis heard 5 today. We are set up close.

Certainly not a traditional spring gobbler hunt but successful nonetheless.

We have been after that bird for 3 days . Every time he would go left from us or to the right.  So this time we split and sat in each way he went and it paid off . Fist bump bill .  Woohoo my last day will be Tuesday. Hoping for 1 more shot.
