Lyman Rd Clarksville-Cuba area

I'm looking at a house with 10 acres of Lyman rd, how is the deer hunting in this area.

I have several friends in clarksville, it has good hunting deer, and seveal bear taken last few years, 10 acres isn't a lot though, make friends with your neighbors, and plenty of stateland close by

Thanks G-man-I want to meet all the neighbors, it looks like allot of them our seasonal. I mostly bow hunt and can't wait to take a look at the land. I would love to pick up some more acres as it becomes available in the area.

depending where you are on either side of 305 on lyman rd

, the place your looking at is about 10 min my my house.

It is on the west side of 305. Only drawback is there are several smaller properties that surround it. I'm also looking a house down in Wirt (Richburg Hill rd)--not sure how that area is for deer hunting.

used to live in richburg. had 51 acres on top of hill. deer hunting was always excellent there. good luck

Hi fishuntrapper, I think your old property might be next to the one I'm looking at, the address is 6966 (it's an old tudor looking cottage on 8.6 acres.

I have been hunting in Portville ( about 15 mins. from Cuba) for well over 30 years. The deer hunting has always been great. I assume that the Cuba area is just as good.

I live about 3 hrs. from there so I cant say. Haven't talked to the land owner in a while.

Just looked at accuweather and it looks like it is snowing but suppose to warm up on Tuesday.
