NYS hunting-fishing license restructuring

So, no more sportsman? if you add all of them up it is almost like today's fees, is this really better?

Super Sportsman would actually be the same if they dont allow a break in that price. I paid 98 for BG, SG, Fishing, bow/ MZL, turkey tags and DMP's. If they dont offer that next season it would cost me exatcly 98 dollars for the same tags.

Have those changes to license structure and costs been officially put into law yet or gotten to a point where they are set in stone? The subject seems to have gone completely quiet.

 

I called DEC before I purchased my license and all they would tell me is yes it did pass & would go into effect for 2014-2015 season

so for the hunters that bought the  supersportsman it basically saved us about $10. Might I make a suggestion where Cuomo can put my $10.

Wasn't this change also going to include a change of the license year so it went from September 1 to August 31?  I haven't heard if this was included.  I wonder if our archery season will still start September 27 in the north as that is usually with last years leftover tag.
