Field Dressing a Turkey

I've only killed one bird and that bird got mounted so i wasn't worried about the meat, if i kill one this year i would like to try the meat and keep the tail-fan and beard for a wall display, so i was wondering how do i go about preserving all of those?

I believe there are some good YouTube videos on how to do it. The first one is going to be a pain in the butt. I was fortunate enough to have someone show me in person but those videos will do the trick. You are going to want a piece of cardboard and tacks for the tail and some salt.

hit youtube and lay the turkey right in front of your monitor, they will just about do it for you.....as a matter O fact if you need to know how to do anything from putting up a hung ceiling to replacing a heater core in your car go to youtube.....
