I love my smith m&p 40.  I have never been a fan of 380 or 9 mm.  Just personal preference.

Not really micro in the sense of LCP and Kel tec. About the size of most small 9mm like my Shield and Karhs . That said I like it although it's getting trashed on many gun forums, for being size of a 9 power of a 380 . But for small hands, new shooters. Could be nice.

Have you seen the reviews of the new Remington R-51? It doesn't appear to be available yet but it is a remake of their old 51. Got really good reviews. Only available in 9mm at first but later in 40. Can't wait to hold it

That R-51 looks like a good little rig. It appears to be about the same size as the Ruger LC9. Its suppose to have a single action trigger as opposed to the long stiff pull of the LC9 trigger.
