You could sure put up a lot of wood in short order with that sucker.  Of course there's a lot of bucks tied up in it too, I'm sure.

Got one. If you have a bobcat its the way to go. The other styles require an additional tractor/loader to load logs. I can do 6 face cords an hour loaded in the truck ready to go.

Have thr bob cat but not sure it is a great investment for camp when we 20 or so cord a year.

Ya can't justify it with 20 cord that's for sure. I was selling 250 cord and cutting 50 for the farm and 50 for our sugar shack with a saw and splitter on the tractor. Made sense for us to get one.

Well no one else asked but I'm not shy...how much? those are the slickest things!...next to the one you drive up tpo the standing tree cut it and then move it to where you want...sweet!...

I think getting one for the Neighborhood would be the best way to go !  I only burn 5 cords a year so its not for me .

28k or so I forget exactly. The times savings in 300+ cords a year alone have paid for itself.

Having never been behind the wheel of any heavy machinery, I am always so impressed by operators who make it look so easy - s/he picked up that second log with such ease after moving one out of the way.
