Going from the guy is a loser to "it's just not my thing?" Pretty big difference there.

No….I said it was a loser move and shooting at a bunch of running deer is IMHO a loser move.. Why so defensive about my opinion of a guy shooting at a bunch of running deer and stacking them up?? OH…thats right…One more time ..if its legal, and you want to do it then do it. Don't brag about it.

If you shoot a nice buck with big horns, that's fine. Don't take a picture, or video, or mention it, because you are bragging. That would be a loser move too, maybe?

I think we can all agree that shooting a nice buck is a little different from laying waste to a bunch of running does that were pushed to you. And no..I have no problem with people who drive deer.

Actually, we can't ALL agree. I certainly don't. What am I going to do with those ugly horns? Certainly can't eat it, or feed it to the dogs.

You used the phrase, "laying waste". You think these deer were left to rot?

Wow. Never saw where it was a drive. Were was that?

The lay waste comment is a bit over the top don't you think? Why not follow up with how their fawns will grow up without parents or they will never have a chance to meet their true love?

Side note. A couple vets have told friends if mine to give them to their dogs because they are great chew toys. Good for their teeth

And if Germany had won WWII you would not be able to sit behind a screen and tell others what they should think. Just saying

I never told anyone what to think, i told you that saying what if this and what if that isnt relevant. What happened is what happened, and there was nothing unsafe about it. You could say what if this or what if that until you are blue in the face, but it doesnt change the facts of what we are talking about. You saying shooting down into the ground is more unsafe than shooting at a deer on the same plane with a somewhat unknown background is about the dumbest thing youve ever said on here.

But ya know, throw another accusation out there. Its your mo.

Lay waste was a bit much ..sorry. But at the start of the video he says that some one radioed to him that he was pushing deer his way. Then the deer come running in. Just like they're being pushed.

http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystemA big doe walks in front of your stand. You notice that a big buck is following her but he is not in range yet

A big doe walks down a trail and is standing in front of your stand. You notice that a big racked buck is following her down the same trail. The buck is not in range yet but heading right for you. You don't wait for the buck and shoot the doe??? Got it!!

I never thought this day would come, but you are finally getting it. I'm proud of your progress.

But honestly, I'd shoot them both under 4 seconds.

I'm not faulting anyone for wanting to try some slug slinging (or practicing for the first time), but this is kind of what I was saying about guys who see others in the woods just unload their gun. They see or hear others do it and perceive it as normal, and then they "try". (again no offense meant to Joseph). If you running shooters are going to tell me that even half of the guys who take running shots practice and are proficient at hitting vitals I think you are very very wrong based on my observations. Too many guys can't even place a solid group on a stationary target but then go empty their guns at running deer. Maybe those target practicers were just too excited that opening day was only 10 hours away... yep, lot's of idiots out there and yes I'm saying if you are one of those idiots, you are likely to take pot shots at running deer. I am not saying all people who take running shots are idiots.

As for the bet, I'll stand behind my offer. But I have no interest in spreading interest to other people to take running shots, not to mention a rolling tire is a far cry from a zig zagging bouncing animal. Sounds like we would get along wonderfully..

Joseph was talking about being in on the target shooting. Are you in or no? If you are we can start figuring the details out.

Why not go for the sure thing and take the doe? The buck might go off the trail in another direction, the doe might spook ….Why not shoot the doe and say the hell with the buck? She is standing right there. You can't eat  those ugly horns horns ya know..
