Deer hunting within West Valley nuclear demonstration project

Several years ago, while working within the west valley nuclear site, I was talking to reps from the project and was informed of the deer hunting opportunities, both with the bow and gun within the project. I did sign up for a permit and received my permit for the area I was interested in hunting, but never hunted there.

Wondered if anyone on this forum ever hunted the property or do you know of someone who did and what did you think of the experience.

I have heard of some great bucks taken off the property. Thanks.

Yep...Although the people I talked to told me the areas open to hunting were safe, I guess I can say that I got cold feet about wandering into the area.
