Some time ago I put together a gun in this caliber, mainly because the ammo was cheap and I enjoy shooting as a recreation. I have some Wolf steel cased ammo with HP's that Is giving me sub MOA at 100 yards. Has anyone here actually hunted deer with this ammo? How did it perform?

Not with wolf ammo but I use the 7.62x39 Remington cor lok in my ruger mini 30 with great results .

Honestly I'm not a fan of that wolf, brown bear ,golden bear or any of the Russian steel case ammo. Its always very dirty

Thanks sbuff, yeah its kind dirty but at the time it was the cheapest rifle ammo available. I also bought some other brand with brass casings, the idea of reloading it  sometime down the road, but am very impressed with the quality in construction of this Wolf steel cased stuff and well, the accuracy speaks for itself.Pretty much just wondering if the HP's perform. Either way, its' cheap to shoot for recreation but being being a hunter at heart, it got me wondering.
