coming back form Summit, NY this past weekend, drove past a field buried in 18" of snow, there were approx 80 birds in that field including 20 Toms, every Tom was flarred up and strutting

Cool...It's getting closer - Can't wait for May 1st!

I went out shed hunting the day before the snow storm hit...no sheds found but the deer seemed to be everywhere and I saw a group of three long beards...one of them was strutting around like he owned the place! I think he was the dominant one of the group.  Always nice to see as Spring gets closer.
