LOL!! Back then that was  the only reason why most guys bought those things.!!! Right around that time, 78 or so, my brother in law, who was only dating my sister then, showed up at the house with a brand new Ford Econoline. No windows!! I thought my father was going to kill him. I remember me and my brother sitting on the front steps, laughing our asses off as the old man backed my BIL all the way down the sidewalk, getting in his face and threatening the hell out of him. LOL!! Shagen Wagon!!!

Looks like my neighbors work van.

He was under the impression it was a wedding cake delivery van before he bought it.

Boy is he gonna be pizzed when he finds out that's not  a frosting stain on the seat,lol

I'm busting a gut on this one...........That freaking van has got to be looooooooooong gone from either bullet holes, rust, theft, plumbers tools that rammed around for ten years or who knows what in the heck!!!

 

It'd be a hoot if the "Ol Black dude still has it and is using it for a Sin Bin, still!!

My future brides dad had told me some epic stories about the "van" club he belonged to when he was younger . They would load in his buddys van and drive to a van gathering , partying in the back when you had to take a leak ,there was a rust hole in the back floor pan to go through , guys behind him would get hit with the splatter and turn the wipers on.

I know a kid who had a van in like 2001. It was white, all tinted out, rims, blue under glow lights, sound system, etc. This thing was ridiculous looking, but the funniest part was that he had a sticker on the back blacked out glass that read "Don't laugh, your daughter might be inside".
