Well the southern zone rifle season is about to kick off...  Are you ready? What are your plans for this coming weekend?

I'm heading up to my property on Friday afternoon, and planning on getting into the woods an hour before sunrise.  Hopefully see a few of those bucks I saw all archery season that were out of range!  ;)

Good luck to everyone, and be safe.

I have Thursday and Friday off this week, so Ill be hitting up the last two days of bow season on state land. Saturday Ill be at my Dad's property just waiting for one of the deer thats been teasing me all bow season to show its mug. Sunday Ill be on the new farm in my stand if its nice or in a blind if it isnt. Hopefully Ill get the chance to hang something up in the barn for the first time on opening day.  :)

The weather looks great and the 260 is hungry!  ;D

I am heading to camp on Friday morning to get it opened and have my Father and 2 buddies joining us. We have a huge dinner planned to kick the season off and a few games of cards.

My uncle and cousin join us for Mon,tues,Wed and two more buddies come in for the Friday thru Sinday after Thanksgiving.

Dad and I are hunting from the 20th to the 28th with only a breather for Thanksgiving dinner. I have a buck tag-2 doe tags and 2 DMAP's just burning a hole in my pocket. I will be on stand by 6 am and have stands and blinds to choose form weather depending. Good luck to everyone...be safe and enjoy it.

My buddy is coming up Friday afternoon and we will be bowhunting that evening.  Come back to my appt. and my dad will be meeting us Sat. morning at my uncles for opening morning.  Sunday will just be me and maybe another buddy.  Then will be back out there for a few days around thanksgiving when I got break from school.  I'm pretty jealous of you guys who got camps though.  It sound pretty fun to go up and have a big dinner with all your buddys and play some cards before hitting the woods the next day.  Good Luck to all!!!!!!

I will be heading north from PA Friday morning around 9 a.m. We will stop for a big breakfast shortly into the trip and be up in the motel in NY around 12:30. We will then head to the farm to get our permission slips that we have to carry with us. I will be joined by my Brother, Father, Cousin, 3 Uncles and my buddy. I am so ready to leave work I can't stand it. I have just a few more things to pack. Best of luck to everyone and please be safe. Hope to hear some success stories and see some pics.

im gunna be in 4w this weekend, cant wait

I used to hunt there years ago. Did they ever re-open that road that was washed away by those bad storms over 5 years ago. Can't remember the road but it was off route 17 and there was a trailer camp site on that road....

Had some great spots on that State Land.....used to stay at the Riverside Lodge....Man did they ever have some great pork tenderloins.....
