philoshop
Paula, I've always considered gravy a dipping sauce. And if I have bread, then a pot of tomato sauce is also for dipping.

Would prob all end up like a stick to your ribs gravy

My gravy tends to be thick, so it's good for dipping.

Trying to a avoid the “gravy” since I don’t know if I can keep it hot enough for it not to clumpSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chef
That will help and if I add corn starch it will help but I am really looking for a more syrup-like consistency. Not sure I can get there with reduction and corn starch without it turning gummy Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkReducing more red wine and adding to the mixture then reduce it all it will help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If the sauce is still not thick enough,repeat...

You sure eat well, that is good to see. I love food as well, here is my birthday dinner. It was delicious. The trout tasted amazing, and we managed to only eat half of it. It wasn't easy to cook in the oven under the broiler,it barely fit the baking sheet!
